That reminds me, I need to measure the inside of my box with all the seats down... I think I spotted an air mattress that will fill the entire area...

Anybody figured out what to do about the scheduling conflict between the Pizza Run and the HIN or whatever it is?

I haven't heard from Scioneyes lately to make sure when she's coming, but there is wedding on Aug. 4 that we'll probably all be attending so Sunday, August 5 might be a better date for pizza running. And that might make it better for those going to car shows on Saturday.

OK, because of
(1) HIN
(2) Wedding
(3) ?

The planning date for this has been moved to 05AUG07

Topic header has been changed.

The 5th is a Sunday.

(Anyone is welcome to use this avatar as the date gets close to remind
more people that this is coming up.)

"Back to Planning" post...

Tentative meet points and times for the NORTHBOUND cruise on Sunday, 05 AUGUST 2007 for Annies's Pizza Run II along I-5

From the South:
OLYMPIA
- - Old Cinema (now a church), Exit 109: Meeting at 9:30AM, leaving at 9:45AM to...
KENT
- - Star Lake Park & Ride, Exit 142: Meeting at 10:30AM, leaving at 10:45AM to...
SMOKEY POINT
- - Smokey Point Rest Stop, Mile 207: Meeting at 12:30PM, leaving at 1:00PM to...
CONCRETE
- - Annie's Pizza Station, Concrete, WA
Further details/maps for each meet point will be posted later - this is just settling on where/when.

Any corrections/comments on this info so far?

Anyone have any further south (Centralia? Vancouver?) points that would make sense?

I plan on meeting up at Olympia...

If you have 'em, bring FRS/GMRS walkie-talkies and set 'em to channel five...

Way back when in this thread a "Pizza Run" vinyl was mentioned. Just for fun I quickly cobbled together a simple idea for one - all white...

Would anyone be interested enough in sporting something like this to make it worthwhile to even check on?

I'll meet at the Kent P&R and I've got 4 walkie-talkies now to share.

Wow.

Other than Annie, not one single comment on the 'cruise badges' for the Pizza Run.

If I get no comments/opinions on 'em there's no way *I'm* going to finance 'em!

Look, it's simple, if people want 'em they will happen - either in white or silver gray (or equal number of each). If no one wants 'em, I'm not buying 'em.

I'm going to start a roll call topic for this cruise so we can start getting people signed up for it very shortly.

Those of you who did this back in February know how good the pizza was and how much fun the cruise was. I'm sure y'all will want to do it again, and will want to get even more people involved.

I envision this as another pizza run, just like the first, no overnight camping or anything as an official part of the cruise.

It will be essentially an all-day cruise to Annie's Pizza Station in Concrete, Washington through some very beautiful countryside with a bunch of other friends in Scions. At the destination is some very excellent pizza, good family times, striking awe into the peasants in the countryside as a seemingly endless stream of Scions roll by... We'll take over the parking lot and the town of Concrete again, and eat 'til we burst. :D

Let's get planning and setting goals for this, eh?

Do any of the PNW clubs want to get involved with this? TA? SE? ??

Anyone want to get involved with the details of organizing?
