Dustin, do you have (or have access to) FRS/GMRS walkie talkies?
When we do a run we try to make sure everyone has one so we can maintain contact during the drive. Things like the lead car calling out lane changes, turns, stops, hazards, and the tail car (Vanilla and I) making sure we don't lose anyone because of traffic problems, wrong turns, traffic lights, etc.
It also gives everyone a chance to sing out if they have a problem so that we can help them take care of it.
FRS channel five, no code, is our normal channel for our runs.
(For those who do not have FRS/GMRS radios, and can't get hold of one, we usually have some extras we can loan out for the run. I usually bring four, but only use one, for example.)
Those who don't have walkie-talkies are stuck with cellphone communication to someone in the line-up who has both...

Annie won't be there Monday, but she can change the date to May 7 anyway. Good call for those who want Cascadian Farm ice cream because from their website, it looks like they open in May anyway.

--> 07MAY11 <--
May 7th works better for me, too, as I can hit the Griot's event and handle my mother's 85th birthday on the 30th, then hit the Pizza Run on the 7th.
See ya all there!
Pizza Run V - Meeting up with Annie at the Hwy 20 "old truck stop."
