North Meet Point is in the parking lot in front of WinCo, 72nd and S Hosmer at 8:15 AM, just off I-5 Exit 129 in Tacoma (this is the usual Tacoma M&G location). We will leave this meet point at 8:30, heading south on I-5.

Also, don't forget to bring a jacket, it may be chilly up at the observatory.

And entry into the observatory is $8 a person. With weather like this the mountain should be visible.

Have fun everyone! I'm super bummed I can't make it this year. Too much going on at work to fly up for it. Drive safe!

Hell, the way you drive, Will, you could drive up from LA after breakfast and meet us for the potluck...

Seriously, sorry you won't be here - maybe you can make next year's run...

Looking like it's going to be a great turnout by looking at the sites the event is posted on. I estimate around 30 + cars and around 50 people. Nice also to see a mix of new and old faces going.

Going over all the sites looks like we won't have a XA in the cruise but, we will have a 5axis full option '11 tc coming. And the Facebook page for the cruise says 92 guests coming. I know that list has people from here listed but, this is going to be a great turnout.

Oh for sure.. might have the xB pegged out the whole way .. but I could do it! I could leave at 4pm and meet up with the Portland crew in the morning!

Actually I was planning on going, flying up, doing the cruise, picking my VW up in Seattle later in the week, and caravaning back down with some PNW R32 guys for the annual R32 GTG. Due to some delays in getting the R32 finished, and a last minute trip to Hawaii next weekend, I really need to catchup on things this weekend and get ready for meetings in Hawaii. Yes meetings with humans, besides the normal ones with a few Mai Tai's on a sailboat.

Seriously though.. Out of all the years of doing car events by far this even every year was the most fun. Granted I only did one year in a Scion and the rest in a VW.

On another note I'll be in the PNW around the 20th for a week or so for work.. maybe I'll make it out to a meet...

Sad news...
Tomorrow is the only day on our trip up to Washington that my Dad & his wife are able to see Bronwyn due to their work schedules. So sorry but we're going to have to skip out on the cruise. And such a shame because the weather is so gorgeous!!! Have a blast and take lots of pics!!! (And I must say that Rob's pics ROCK!!!)

Bring them out, they would enjoy the cruise. We understand, have fun. You can enjoy the cruise and bbq through the pics afterwards. I know, not the same.

Car is washed, going to pick pick up dessert-ish stuff for tomorrow.

I'll be meeting at the Starbucks by Fred Meyer in Hazell Dell at 8:30.

Well bad news - I found out today my silver yaris has a broken left cv boot. Working now to get it fixed but if its not done in time we have a 09 yaris that's stock we'll take instead. My gf will also be making some killer fancy bacon-wrapped hotdogs for the potluck.
