lol i knew i saw that logo from somewhere....this guy in a speedfactory civic drove past everyone at the last poker run kanchi put on....revved his motor and acted like a douche....i made a few fun gestures and the guy freaked out at a rest stop....at which 30 scions and owners were parked....he revved freaked out and took off down the rest stop parking lot looking "really cool" (thumbs up)

not saying those cars aint fast, but fast doesnt make a douche not a douche...

I really doubt the cars that were pulling the 8 sec were the one you saw on the freeway that day. the ones pulling these times didn't look street legal to me so my assumption is that douche, which there are a lot of them out there, were just reppin' speedfactory with stickers.

i do agree though, fast doesn't make a douche not a douche.

haha no not so...you change out the tires to street rims and tires....most of the stuff they do isn't all that involved course-wise more-so drag wise (which really does show what a sohc/dohc honda block can pull). anyone can pass emissions by reinstalling stock equipment (catalytic converter emissions controls and stock carb/intake equipment and than put the race crap they have back on their cars after they have passed.... lol

the ones that arent streetable were the civics that had the full fiberglass front shell that replaced the headlights/ fenders/ hood/ etc. im not sure but that usually means they replaced the unibody with a tube frame setup.

like dees won

in cali however all of us would be kinda effed

i think its funny as eff when they take those drag slicks and put them on the front and the teeeeeny tiny tires (for weight reduction) and slap them on the rear. makes those hatches look like turtles.

and i actually saw some of the cars from speed factory that competed drive in with us when we went to import faceoff in woodburn btw....just saying

and im pretty sure it was this car...which is amazing btw...just driven at the time by a !@#$ (and this is an SOHC engine btw) and has all the equipment to be street legal...except whats under the hood...and hood or not i have never had a cop check to see what was legal on my car even when it got impounded......lol hahahaha long story.

erik or mike (wayne) will remember this civic
