its a scion.... not a vw. its from japan... ish. not europe. leave the poor thing alone. or try running proper wheels and tires and see how much more consistent the handling is in the bends. you would be amazed.

hella retarded if you ask me... but maybe im just old fashioned... always rather have a 205/50r15 on my civic and 86 as opposed to a 195/30r17 (if there is such a size) on a 17x8... just silly looking. oh and rides like crap and gives no feedback to speak of.

No such size and I have no idea what you're talking about, and my bf is a assistant manger at discount tire so I trust him with my car, let alone he's already had 2 of his own cars in magazine's.

HellaFlush FTW.
Honestly that tire is probably in spec. Even the 215's on my 8in wide iForged is spec. Not really that aggressive of a stretch but still looks good none the less.
You talk aggressive.. 225's on a 10.. that's how the big boys do it.

Im actually going with a narrower tire in the rear more then likely because it rubs a bit, or we will shave down the spacers some. Maybe run more camber or all of the above. My bf run's 205/40/18s on a 9.5 on his S4 lol

will... it can be in spec all it likes... its still rides like crap and gives about as much warning as a brain hemorage before it gives up grip... its not that it looks stupid that bugs me (and make no mistake it does look stupid)... its that it is contrary to all wanted performance characteristics for this car.
