Default anyone using Yokohama Advan S.4 tires?

is there anyone in the washington area using Yokohama Advan S.4 tires on thier xb?

i've been reading reviews based on all specs of thier aimed performance but i'm not seeing any reviews done by Scion owners.

i plan on using some 225/50/16's on some sportmax 501's but i'd like to know thier performcne impression on our vehicles first *specified tire that is*.

The xB is underpowered so anything will work well. Plus with the traction control you can not really abuse the tires as much as I would like to. Yokohama's are usually pretty good. On our summer wheels we are using Nitto’s for our xB.

lets put it this way, i'm upgrading from the crapy Goodyear LS all seasons that the local Titus Will likes to put on ALL thier vehicles...

i got the chance to hit some snow and compact snow/ice, crapiest tires i've ever used. the tire roll on these things suck ***** too and i hydroplane all the time. hell any time i come out of my driveway *uphill climb either way i turn* i spin or slip and i'm hardly even touching the gas... still have a ton of tread left so it's not like they are getting too worn or anything. all the reviews i've read about Goodyear LS tires have been the worst i've seen...

i've heard the Advan S.4 tires have some pretty thick side walls which tells me theres alot less tire roll. i've also read they are very quite on the road and last a good time before needing replacements.

I'll have to see what is on our xB, They do well in the winter, I prefer driving the box over the tC which is horrible in the ice/snow it randomly starts sliding sideways.
