well who would go to an event that is meant to help the disaster in japan and then not help and donate? kinda defeats the purpose if you ask me. i say they should do a $10 donation at the front gate

i agree 100%, but i also know there will be someone there that will come to the event (either drive or ride) & not donate anything, but i am hoping that everyone there is able to donate something, whether it be $5 or hundreds of dollars

Well poor Egplant took a beating today......

Wanna say a big thanks to Josh and Steve for the use of the spare, tools, lugnuts, and good humor........

The drivers front rim is pretty bent from the pot hole....so went to Steve's to change it out to Josh's spare he loaned me....lol

the inside of the wheel is also got a big ding in it too......

So we took the drivers rear off and put it in the front and Josh's spare in the rear....

Was a lottle worried as on the way home the car steering wheel was a bit turned to the right more than it normally was....

But Joe and I got home safe......checked airpressure in the busted wheel and it was at 25lbs....they were at 40lbs....checked it in the one that was rotated to teh front and it also was at about 26lbs...so it was losing air or it may of been low already as the passenger side tires were at about 30 each.....

So I put the steelies back on....may put the hubcaps back on...lol

But I took the car to gasstation and filled up the tires with air as they had been in the shed for a year......

Steering wheel is straight again, car tracks straight and brakes straight,so I think it is gonna live...strut appears to of survived......

Well I wanna once again say thanks to everyone for helping out......I am sad the rims got bent but they should be fixable and are gonna get sold cheap...

The drivers front tire looks toast.....looks like it might of bubbled the sidewall but could just be from the lip being knocked out and the flat spot...lol

So I guess in a few minutes I am gonna buy new rims and tires tonight.....was trying to wait a couple of weeks but no time like the present....lol....at least I got money to afford to do it.....and glad that no body got hurt....that was one big and deep nasty pothole.....and to hit it at 60mph was not my favorite way to go boom....lol
