Wildwaves is about the worst place to have a car show,it is always over crowded, over expensive,no parking, and lines that go on for an hour to every ride......total bust.....park has always been like that too......anyone take any pictures of the show or anything......

I was afraid it was going to be that way, with the weather being so hot lately. As expensive as it can being driving to Silverwood for the weekend, its almost worth it to have the park not be so crowded.

i'd guess 150 cars tops... think dodaddy took home like 5 awards... they only had Best Scion.. he got that... and i didnt hear the other catagory but think 1 was "chase" ?? dunno what that was for, figure go fast or something...

think i was the only one who won just 1 trophy.. .seemed like all the other winners were multi-catagory winners

its a work in progress.. the promoters went around and talked to just about everyone showing i think (if the owners werent in the park) and asked oppinions ect... they are gonna see about next year having free parking for show spectators, also seeing if the park is willing to let show people have the park to themselves for a couple hours after closing to gen pop... they said worse thing the park people could say is NO..

so to the promoters..they are trying... and asking input so thats good.... I even asked about running a street sweeper thru the parking area cuz it was pretty full of lose rock... they agreed and noted that when they showed up too.

kk is correct - there was only total of 6 scions there (me, kk, benilda, leslie, giovanni(spelling) & stephen) - lets hope it goes back to Idaho next year 'cause it's worth the trip over there I think

yeah i think it should just stay in idaho at silverwood because at least then it only cost us like 30 something for the show and oh yeah the memories of all of us in that cramped log cabin LOL if they do move it back over there we should all get some hotel rooms and party LOL oh yeah forgot to mention the fun cruise the night we all got there when we headed to that bar in sandypoint or what ever it was called LOL

funny we say this cuz i was looking at the pictures of all of us from 2007 in idaho - wow did we look funny, everyone of us was all burnt - it was great! i may have the picture here w/ me at work so if I do i'll post it up

othewise yes i want it in idaho - camping was more fun, the lazy river w/ bar is more fun, the rides lines are much shorter, cheaper admission price & better turn out. They are doing it at both locations next year from what I hear.

also the reason why they didn't have it at idaho this year is cuz the park (silverwood) wanted no events this year to see how the grass field where we all park is doing. apparently they have hundred of car shows there on the grass so they wanted a year off to see how the field is doing - there is a possibility that they may move the show out onto that retired runway next year, either way i still rather have it over there than wild waves unless they can close the park down for just us for a couple hours
