its a fun day at the races.

not a big fan of the show we didnt get trophys till after 11pm.

 

ya last year sucked as for the show..

i'm torn 'cause this is the same day as sittin pretti's show in arlington..

can i do both? hmmmm!!!!

 

well... not planning on goin to either.... unless we go on strike.... lol... then who knows.... i'll know by 16/17 if we strike or not

how come it wasnt that good last year? I've never been to it, but i hope this year it turns out well!

 

awards were suppose to be at like 9pm or something & they didn't happen till almost midnight - very unorganized & not prepared for anything.. didn't get out of there till after midnight

 

races took all day, waited for them to finish and then had some lame models, trophys ran way late. some people didnt get them there, they had to be sent in the mail.
it just didnt go well. i belive a bunch of people sent in conplaints.

 

Lets hope they took those into consideration and got everything fixed up for this go around.

 

yes i hope they did i would like to see this event go well.

We will have our K20 swapped 96 civic running the 1/4 mile.

 

i just wanna have a 1/4 time just to have one with this car. never raced it.

 

the races are the best part of this show that's why i want to go

specially that red supra last year - holy smokes!!

 

where do you register? And does it matter what day you show up for the car show?

 

the car show & races are the same day & you just show up to register.

I can vouch that this year will be much more organized with the additional staff and more corporate backing. I can also assure that the event will be more appealing with high profile drag racers such as the Bergenholtz brothers, Skunk2 racing, Scion racing, and Bisi racing will be competing for the top 1/4 mile times slips being that this track is one of the most closest to sea level of all tracks!

 

how much is registration for the car show? I have to factor that in along with gas money and ferry money...
