As a reminder, this event is happening at the end of this month! If you plan on staying the night, I suggest getting your room VERY soon because they are very limited now.

We will see how my wife is feeling, this is a fun drive. If we go, we won't be staying over night, will drive home that night. Top off the drive with a twisty drive back to Kelso.

Alright all I will be heading down for this drive. I will be meeting up with others at the OLD Federal Way Park and Ride about 10am, We will be departing approximately 11am. Arriving Long Beach approximately 3pm.

I hope to see some of you there. The plan is to take over the entire Cedar Ocean View Inn.

I would also like to note...

BRING A TWO WAY RADIO ( it is a great idea to bring a two way radio. It allows you to listen to some important information on our trip, and to communicate with fellow drivers you may never have meet before.)

PRINT DIRECTIONS (Please print off direction just in case you are split from the group)

FULL FUEL TANK (Please fill up prior to coming to meet spot we will make a few stops along the way but fuel is few and far between once we exit I-5.)

Reminder bump! 2 weeks away!

Also, bring camp chairs for the after-cruise fun on the beach.

Well, with two different cruises going on, this one and another groups to Mt Rainier, and a car show all the same day, I left it up to my wife which one we were going to go and she said she wanted to go to the beach. We are not planning on staying over night in Long Beach, just going for the cruise and to let the dog run on the beach. We'll see you guys Sat. morning.

Wow, what a great day for a cruise. Couldn't ask for better weather. We had a great time. The roads were a little rough in spots, but the scenery was awesome. We left Portland on time and cruised out hwy 26 to hwy 6, then on to Tillamook from there. They had a parade going on in Tillamook so that backed things up a little, but didn't interfer with our cruise. Stopped at the cheese factory for a half hour break then back on the road to Long Beach. Going was slow through Seaside as the nice weather seemed to have attracted everyone to the beach. Once we arrived in Long Beach, we drove out to a public parking area near the beach and waited for the north group. All in all, a great time, thanks TNT for the invite. Here are a few of m pics....
