Default Drive In at Newberg on 9/14 anyone

Hey all you Portlanders and the surrounding areas,

Anyone wanting to meet at Newberg Drive in?

Here is the 411:
99W Drive-In Theatre Open Fri-Sat-Sun
Hwy 99W, W of Springbrook Rd, Newberg, OR N 45° 18.279 W 122° 56.885
September 14-15-16
STARDUST
Rated PG13 - Runtime 128 min
Dusk

SUPERBAD
Rated R - Runtime 114 min
Follows first feature

99W Drive-In Admission
Adults $7.00, 6-11 $4.00, 5 & Under Free! (Min vehicle charge for a single is $11.00)

It has been years since Yvette and I have been to drive in and I am really curious about this place.

I was thinking in a scion you really cannot hide anyone in the trunk

We "May" be game for at least the first feature... I'm not a "Superbad" fan (at least 176 F Words and a ton of insane content - http://www.screenit.com/movies/2007/superbad.html ), but love the drive in there and my wife wanted to see stardust...

NOTE for others wishing to attend.... MAKE SURE you are there plenty early... it gets REALLY packed on Friday nights and if you get there at least 1-2 hours before, it's a good ability to find a nice spot and have time to walk around and see the other cars and meet nice people. (we bring the dog sometimes and she loves it!)

I'll talk to the babe about it...

awesome! I am definitely for the 1st one myself too. Let me know and if there is a great place to meet out there we could all roll in together. Nothing like a bunch of scions to make everyone turn their heads

We're still game... going to try to pick her up after work and head down that direction, get some dinner and end up there around 6-6:30 Hopefully... (Traffic from Eastside is CRAZY on Friday to get there)

Sunset is 7:24 and darkness should be around 8PM

I'm installing the tanabe springs today too on the new box, so it may go out the window too.... ugh.

I can't guarentee a meetup, and it looks like maybe it's just a few of us, so I'll look for Scions!

I can't make it tonight but let me know how Stardust is. I want to see but am worried that it may not be as good as the book.

Hey Tim thanks for showing up. I still could not believe those kids went right into your car. What was up with that? Stardust was a great movie, Yvette and I loved it. Super Bad was just like it sounded a lot of F words. We ended up leaving around midnight.
