Going to have a tint done at Jay's Tint Shop this Saturday
Hey all,
I'm going to get a tint job done at the Jay's Tint shop in Kirkland this saturday as recommended by the sticky post above. Hopefully it will turn out good as expected. I'm going to follow up on this post once done.
Just a quick question on the film material, and some tips that i should know....
Which brand/type of tint film is the best out there? Or recommended? I'm looking for dark black tints...
Anything else i should know?
THanks!

thats where I got mine done. very nice guy. shop looks kinda ghetto, but his work his great. i only regret not going darker up front (i did 30% front, 20% back). He'll offer to do a visor tint as well for around $40, which i recommend.

10% is almost not drivable to see out of in Washington due to how dark and rainy it is all the time......plus you will get easy tickets from cops. 20% will also get tickets but it at least is somewhat seeable out of.

I got the tint done. It looks very sexy, only that i couldn't roll window down for like 3 days. It's fine, i'll just ride buses! haha, anyways, the lowest he offers is actually 15% other than the limo tint. And, it's way too dark for me... i end up getting the 20%, which is pretty dark. hehe
