Default Good bye xB hello EVO X

Kind of a sad day. I traded in my trusty xB for a brand new blue Evo 10. I will post pics soon. To be honest it was hard the leave the xB there I almost teared up.

Funny you should ask. I didn't even call my insurance to see how much it would be. I knew it might disciorage me from buying the car. As for price, I'll just say I bought it for wholesale the day before it was going up for auction. Seems there are some good deals to be had on new 08's that are just sitting on the lot since the 2010's are out now.

I will tell you what. I thought my police car was fast till I took the Evo out tonight out in the hills on the twisties. My partner couldn't keep up in his patrol car.

a Lamborghini cant keep up with the evo's on a track. what chance does
a cop car have unless the fellow driving the evo is a poor
driver.

(excluding tire strips, helicopters, and license plates)

now stick a police officer who has defensive driving and course driving
under his belt from his work in an evo, and you have somebody
scary.....stick a police officer on the road in an evo as a squad car and
you would have people giving up on running outright.... lol

not to say a police cruiser isn't quick, its just the evo is WAAAAY quicker.

Yeah, I've had a lot of training at the track, plus my patner is an "EVOK" instructor. We weren't going that fast, about 70, but is was the acceleration between corners and braking that the Evo had the advantage.

I'd be really interested in seeing you or your partner drive.

lol, raises a good point though, why not use something like an evo or scooby for a interceptor? The Impala polica cars a few years ago only had 165 hp...w/ a 4200lb sedan thats not much...I hope they were only intending to pull over metros...

mike u go threw cars like u go threw alcohol lol

me I've always wanted an evo and then i started seeing the sti's so if and when i ever decided to sell or get rid of the tc it would be for an old sti (03-04) unless i can get a newer one for cheap about the time i get rid of it. Now if i knew my gf was thinking about letting me get an sti when i was looking to trade in my lancer i would have went for it but then i would not have meet any of you crazy ****'s LOL

other than domestic investments....... i dont know.......
