I <3 My iPhone!!
Ok so as some of you may know I'm big into gadgets and modding things, so that being said I have done things to my iPhone that its not supposed to do...as Optional says I have the "Riced out Honda" of iPhones.
So on to what I have done recently that makes me love the thing even more.
With the help of a few applications from the 3rd party dev scene, an app from the official app store for iphone and an unlimited data plan with t-mo, I now have the ability to stream any internet radio station to my car stereo!!! ITS AWESOME... My fav station is from shoutcast.com "Digitally Imported 'Vocal Trance' "
So on to what I have done recently that makes me love the thing even more.

you have no idea!
there are supposed to only be 20 icons on the screen, i have 25...also its not suppose to vibrate when you press buttons, mine does, the color is supposed to be a light grey on all the apps, mine is black, the font is supposed to be some crappy basic square font, mine is all futuristic!!
ITS AWESOME!!
i just need to make sure the riceness of my phone doesnt spill out on my car too much.
*edit* my math was wrong on the number of icons before and after the mod, these totals include the 4 (or in my case 5) dock icons

Brian, I will try just about ANYTHING you cook!!....you got me back into green beans......only if you make them though....you should totally bring some to the Balliztik meeting!!!!!

ok so i have the following:
From Cydia:
Backgrounder (make sure to read the "more info" on usage)
TV Out
Insomnia
From App store:
SHOUTcast
all you do is make sure insomnia is on so your wifi doesnt die out on you and backgrounder so it will run in the background, i just have my iphone set not to go into standby while plugged in.
install shoutcast
in tv out app enable tv out for shoutcast
then you plug your iphone into the dock connector thats connected to your car stereo and the ipod will start to play, just hit the home button, load shout cast and click on a stream you want, the ipod music will fade and the stream will begin
viola! you now have internet radio in your car!

Streaming music / video is very useful in the car. I do it every now and again with my Bold.
Even better is with my aircard I can stream Hulu in the car.. but not while driving..

hehe i know someone else who uses PDAnet...i havent had a use for it yet, plus i dont think it would work to well over t-mo's edge network...its works alright for streaming audio, but i'm afraid to try anything else
