Jan 2010 Modified Mag question
If anyone has this issue yet, can you tell me if that is Stephen's (aka dodaddy) car on page 12?
It's a little pic in the lower middle of the page and has a "1" over it. They used it as a visual for someone's question about wheel fitment.

i'm surprised his car isn't in more stuff considering how nice stephan's car is. so this actually would be good to see if it is.
to me it seems like he, jamari (i think his name is) and his friends at "the shop" do good work. if i weren't such a diy ***** would probably only pick a place like the shop due to the work i have seen firsthand at shows. there's more than just neat paint jobs and a lot more work under the hoods of the cars that seem to roll out of there.
and that's more what i respect personally. so to see stephan's car would give more credence to scion as being a legitimate and track-able brand.
same with Kanchi's car which is way more solid (not just good parts, but installation value as well) than most, but you couldn't tell because its very subtle.
anyways blah blah blah would be nice to see it in a mag. blah blah blah.

^^ thank you for the compliments, I definitely appreciate it!
The Shop in Beaverton is definitely a great place for custom fabrication. I know what you mean with being a DIY ***** lol. Aside from the Roll Cage, everything else mostly was done by my friend and I, it's a great feeling to take a step back once you've completed an install/project and actually absorb the outcome of what you did. To me that's the most important thing, being happy with your own project, no matter what anyone else says.

I have a monthly subscription so I usually get mine a week ahead of the stores.
I'll try to take a super crappy picture of the page w/my iPhone so that you get a general idea.
These are best iPhone pics I could get directly from the January 2010 issue of "Modified"

realistically if that's not the case for whoever it is building their car...than it is just them trying to look better than they obviously are. instead of enjoying the character building act of truly owning the car and not just driving it for attention.
and again show me da picta!!!!
