Default Lightning and Thunder, Oh My!

Well, if you happen to open your window in the Puget Sound region we have a VERY active thunderstorm moving through right now that is bringing some impressive sounding thunder... Not so much lightning but what is been flashed at us has been darn nice.

I've been counting a boom very 15-30 seconds...

No lightning in Bellevue, but I've never heard that much thunder in Washington. Can't believe we dropped 30 degrees in 2 days.

Mrs. G turned the fan off last night because she was worried the sounds were someone breaking into the house!

Lightning and thunder are among the few things I miss about living out east.

Down in Sherwood, we got a pretty impressive show. I love thunderstorms! Used to spend summer's in Kentucky during tornado season. You wanna talk about thunderstorms!
The lightning would be so intense that it would last for 20-30 seconds and the deafening thunder would be going at the same time since the storm was so close! Absolutely loved it!
Wish they had them like that around here...

Did you happen to see the sunset last night? It was a good indicator of a pretty active night!

yeah at home the other night it was so loud that it scared my dog and he went yelping into his kennel and then sat there looking up at the ceiling wondering what was going on. He did not like it to much, and many of you have met him and would not believe it was the same dog. I am of course talking about Bewster
