The Disney Pixar movie CARS comes out on June 9th but since it will be packed with kids that whole weekend I want us to go to a showing around 7ish on Wednesday June 14th. Feel free to bring your kids. The time will be determined as we get closer to the date and show times are released

I'd love to go to dinner/drinks first if anyone else is up for it. Something like a 6 pm @ Red Robin and then the 7:30ish film.

I'll bring my "team" (family) which'll be 9 strong.

If we get enough people interested in this, I can contact the manager about a group discount for the film. I can also show up early to Red Robin to get a large group table together.

____e.. I won't know till we closer to the date if I can make it or not. I typically don't get off work in time to make it down to the south end or even home by that time.. I'll keep y'all posted, but I do want to go

 

Won't be doing this one. I will be getting a movie night at our drive in out here. The sound comes thru your car stereo. We can get there early and throw a frisbee or football around before, bring some pizza and our coolers. The admission includes two movies as well.

 

I'd love to do a drive-in too but I think that my fam would complain too much about seeing 'Cars' there. I do think that seeing something like 'X-Men: The Last Stand' or something as cheesy as 'The Fast & The Furious: Tokoyo Drift' would be a blast.

Any other interest in drive-ins from the group?

 

This drive in does have all of the new technology. It was fitted just a couple of years ago. So there is THX and Dolby sound. As far as the screen quality, the screen that they usually put the Disney movies on it the biggest one and also freshly painted. They also have a playground in the front of that one too. We always back in up front with the hatch open with some lawn chairs and blankets.

 

I am always down for the drive ins.. In fact there is one less then 15 min away from me ha ha
