No activity in a week? Come on guys. If we want police help/escort we need around 200 cars. We should pull over at the Truck stop by Wild Waves, Then form one line and re enter the Freeway. I can even go first and merg into the first lane put on my hazards while everyone goes and I can follow in last. The reason I think the Truck stop is a better location to stop is because there may be a cop there that decides to help or at least he'll be a witness to our large size group so we have more cooperation next year.

I also believe everyone should drive with hazards on. Allows other drivers with some common sense to figure out we are in a group or at least dont get behind a car with hazards on.

i dont think there would be enough room for all the cars at the truck stop. im all down for blocking traffic @ 147 and just jumping on!

Not enough cars? I'm willing to bet there will be close to 100 cars. Looks like 25 or so SRT's alone. If there is 15-20 Scions and 30+ other makes and models that would be stopping two lights and some really upset people. To me if we are ruining other peoples days it kind of defeats the purpose of giving back to the community.

I know you have to crack a few eggs to make an omlett but if there is a way to avoid as many headaches as possible then we should.

Just my .02

Maybe us guy's from the south could put something together, and meet you others @ the final destination? Anyone from the PDX/Vanc/Battle Ground/Corvallis/Oregon City/Gresham/Tigard/Beaverton area interested in this?

Ok ya that makes more sense. Room for that many cars may be cramped at the truck stop. Maybe we can just pull in and make a line or two towards the exit.

I too would like us to stay together. Although I love driving a little fast. I dont think it is neccessary for this event. A nice long line will show solidarity and organization, I think thats what we need to get more support from local law enforcement. We've had news there twice and a 10 sec. spot on TV. So a good organized trip may help.

If it doesnt then I say next year we go for total KAOS. Cannon Ball run to Izzy's like we broke out of Jenny Craig.

I do...in fact she's in the other room...but I'm not going to startle her awake right now because she has a real job (unlike my laziness) and needs to get up in the morning. I'll touch base with her tomorrow morning.
