What times did the cops say they would block lights. we are not that puntual. We tend to leave the parking ride a little late and dont know an exact time we will be getting to Olympia???

They were very flexible and were actually going to wait on "standby" for those couple of lights both on and off for when we needed them. I estimated leaving around 12:20ish and arriving in Oly about 1 hr later. But the woman I spoke with is flexible if we need to shift things around. Let me know!

Looks like you spoke with much nicer people then I did. They were asking me for some kind of business ID that was puting this on. Also was telling me I would be responsible for the entire group. Glad to see some people are easier to work with.

Kettlman...I have stats on the current totals of handraisers on each forum listed on your toyrun site. Do you want me to give you a copy? I'm going to post them up here shortly because the SCIONS want to rule this event!!! (or at least show up in force with the largest toy donations)

okay Scion Gang, brain Storm!!!!

Lets hit up a few Toy R us stores or Wal MArts and see if we can stand outside and ask donations. You never know, I bet we could raise a lot of awareness about this!!!!

I want to have to rent a truck to drive down all of our toys!!!!

Okay guys!!! I talked to the DOT today as we work on finalizing the route.

In order to get us on to I-5, they are going to lock both lights from the transit center with Kent Police directing the intersections. Then as we get onto I-5, since it is a short entrance, they have 3 WSP who are going to do a rolling slow down for us to get on in a line (they said another option is to close the right lane before the entrance and let us have full control of it, but they said that might cost a little bit...I told them...let's stay no-cost).

They want to know if we want to do one lane all the way down or if we want to spread among many lanes. I haven't done this before so anyone with knowledge, let me know!

Then they have us getting off at exit 107 and the Olympia police will hold those lights for us.

Are there any dealerships out there willing to help us out by allowing us to put a collection box in your showrooms?

Dustin, I'm going to go to our "Town Center" shopping area to ask the businesses there if I can put collection boxes in their stores. I'm also going to hit up other HOAs in my development.

I want to see 30 Scions there!!!!
