Finally online at the hotel...
First - Thanks to Scion for another great event.
Second - Props to the front desk host at the Residence Inn whose family owns 3 tCs. She missed out on yesterday's event and can't make it tonight...but she'll be on ScionLife soon and will definitely be at the Happy Rock event!!!
Third - ANYONE WHO CAN...COME TO THIS EVENT!!!!!!
*New xB
*Test drive the xB 1st gen on an autocross track then take the xB 2nd gen out and compare/contrast
*Gourmet Food & ENERGY DRINKS (all you can eat/drink but I won't take you to the hospital if you end up with caffeine poisioning)
*Fun Games (I almost got 100% on the trivia challenge but redeemed myself when I came in second in the final championship - props to Tom from Camby the TRIVIA winner!)
*Question/Answer area
*Car Show with trophies
*FREE TCHOCKIES to add to the Scion wardrobe and goodies collection (Fuzzy Dice Rock)!!
*Fun times!
*SO MANY NEW FACES TO MEET!!! Its like a huge meet & greet!
So anyone who can make it north/south/east/west to come to the Scion Backstage event in PDX I highly recommed it. Otherwise, make sure to put the Puyallup (Seattle) one on your MUST-DO list.
I'll be down here today and I can't wait to see y'all!!!

Had a great time yesterday and looking forward to today since I didn't drive the new xB last night. Props to Scion for putting on such a great event as usual. The xDmention is the coolest thing around. Met some new people, good to finally meet Will. The teal is to die for, best color by far.

yeah... surprisingly that teal is pretty cool looking... tho i think they need to get rid of the plastic covers on the vents either side of the front bumper....or go with black black... instead of the greyish black
just wish they had the one with the 5axis kit there on display if nothing else.... that would change alot peoples opinion i think...for the better

Just jumped on the WiFi here at the Red Lion...need to look for a touchless carwash - poor Vanilla is covered in BUGS.
Saw the Metro Expo Center as we rolled into Portland - should be easy to get to, assuming I can find I-5 again...
See ya in a couple of hours.

sorry that this is my first oportunity to post up. I had such a great time and it was really nice to see everyone there. And nice to reconect with a few of you as well. I am so looking forward to the release of this new vehicle. Heck I think that I may actually end up with one this time, instead of having to drive the dealers car all the time.
Scion has put on a great event and learning process for everyone this time. I know that I am sending all of my dealership employees to this. And if they do not go, then no selling Scions untill the become completely certified, and have all the knowledge that we all learned while we were there.
The trivia thing killed me. It made me understand that I really do not know everything about Scion, and that I need to brush up on several things myself. I am looking forawrd to learning more about this one and more to come in the coming months. And mostly It was a very nice experience to have the opportunity to actualy learn from the owners as well. I think that sometimes we get a little tainted or complacent as dealers taking for granted that we know so much. But it will never cease to amaze me at how much the owners actualy know about our product.
My hat is off to all of you that participated in this function, and especialy for all that you have taught me.
Thank you,
Victor Thompson
