Well Girl, get in that SUV you have and bring them over. The party is still going on. I am wondering if your ears have been burning, because we have been talking about your tamales left and right.

Barely hanging on....I think T and I are going to try to get out today....that is if he can get the chains on correctly.....pray for us....I want my home. All I want for Christmas is to get back HOME.

Been having a blast with Doug and Yvette....but it is time to get things done at our house so they can enjoy their Christmas with the kids....

So wish us luck with getting the chains on so we can travel to see the damage in LO. My mom sent us pics yesterday and T's Tercel is buried half way!

We made it home! Took 2 hrs for a usual 30-40 minute trip....it was an ADVENTURE. Spun out on Scholls ferry Rd trying to change lanes and did a complete 180. Luckily noone was near us....spun around smiled and waved at the people behind us since we could see them. Had another close call, but recovered easier..

It is fine as long as you don't change lanes...the ruts are pretty big. The snow was at least knee high in our driveway....so parking was fun too. Trees down all over the place.

A huge thanks to Doug & Yvette for letting us crash their place....it was fun! But also good to be home!

It was really scary doing the 180 on Scholls!!! Wish we had a pic of the faces of the people that were behind us.....especially after I smiled and waved at them.... I must say I did a great job of recovery...kept us out of the snow bank and from hitting anything else.....but that was enough driving for me....not going out again.....

Maybe to my parents tomorrow...but even that I am not sure about.....depends on what happens tonight LOL

We are glad that you made it home safely. CiCi when is your B-day? So we can have homemade tacos and tamales. Oh and yes i got the new wheels on the trailblazer today. They sure are pretty. I still have to figure out how to get the spare tire back up where it belongs. The crank turns, but the chain only goes a few inches.

yaah you made it!!!
tell me bout them ruts thats the worst part ,well besides the manholes that have ice build up on them. but yes changing lanes is defintly a task.
i could turn the steering wheel a half a turn and not even move...
good to hear you all made it though. in one piece..
im still amazed at how the 2nd gen handles in the snow and ice.
