I know best buy and Fry’s electronics sell it.
I am not sure if the promotion is still good but check out this thread from a few days ago.

if you don't want the factory warranty try ebay and some online sites. you'll find it for around $550-650 shipped. If you do want the factory warranty, Best buy sells just the regular sku on sale for $699 and Cartoys sells the avic d3x kit which includes the ipod cable and bluetooth for $799

yeah there are some very good sites that sells it for pretty cheap, brand new, and with warranty. but the thing is i rather drive and pick it up then order it online and have it shipped. that's why i'm trying to find some local stores that sells it for $500-700. if not, then i'll order it online.
best buy and circuit city's stocks are gone. fry's sells it for 1000 and car toys sells it for 800.

Theres a feature on Bestbuy.com that helps you search for in stock items. i did a search and it said that Beaverton, Washington Square and Cascade station have it in stock. you can also purchase online and pick up the product in 45 min. Thats what I did.

Think of it this way.... that $100 difference is the peace of mind of a Manufacturer's Authorized Warranty. Buy it from bestbuy or cartoys, you can go straight to the store if you have problems. With unauthorized resellers online and ebay, its hit or miss.

Yeah tCeeJay, I "was", I called the promotional rebate place up again today and got a different answer.
First time: They said that it was legit for Fry's to price match BestBuy.
Second time: They said it was not legit for Fry's to price match BestBuy.
To stay on the safe side I'm not going to risk it with that rebate slip-o.

Internet Buys
It's almost impossible to beat internet prices in retail stores. The retail stores just have more overhead and crap to pay for, like unqualified employees. Let everyone know if you find an online price in a store though.
