Good to know people are still around that remember me! hahah
Haven't been really focusing on anything car-related for a long time. Just doing the real life thing; working working working. But, I recently made my last payment on my car note this past August ...so now the real mod money-saving can begin for me.
I'm looking into putting some money into either a front lip and re-spray (gah I knew I should've clear bra'd my car when I first got it...thing's scratched to all heck). Also thinking of working on a headlight retrofit project. Thinking of new wheels for me, too! Just gotta look for that special set.

I've been browsing ads for the xA for a few months now...
Is there a reason why it seems all dealerships suddenly raised the price of the xA by $2000?
With 30-40k miles they were asking $8900-9900 and now they are commonly $11,900 or more! What a total ripoff. Didn't these cars only cost $14,900 when new?

the only thing that doesnt come with the car are the tiger wheels and the shift ****, however, I have a fresh set of MR2 wheels (same as the tigers) that are waiting to be painted right now that will come with the car. Otherwise I have a FAB grill and hood spoiler that will also come with the car (rare) and have all the toys on the inside, DVD, sunroof, coil overs etc... that will stay with the car.
If you are interested, let me know, I'll shoot you a full build sheet and we can chat.

A very nice car whose owner has taken very good care of. I miss my xA and wish I could've kept it. Dustin has done a ton of stuff to make it better, if I had the cash I'd grab it myself. Plus its a Release Series.

OK, I'll take the challenge.
Did my good deed of the day this morning - shipped an Apple MacBook AC power supply off to Josh at Visionborn Gauges since his failed yesterday evening and his business is dead-in-the-water until he can get powered back up. AC block should be in his hand Saturday.
Vanilla is doing just fine - she got her usual birthday card from the Washington State Department of Licensing, this time besides new tabs, she needs new plates to replace the absolutely new looking plates she currently wears. As expected, she passed her emission test without a problem.
We are enjoying our presents to ourselves: A Samsung LCD/LED flatscreen and a Polk home theater audio system to go with it.
Hope everyone has a good new year!

Good thing this thing got pulled back from the 10th page otherwise i would have nevered known this was around.
Anyways had a blast yesterday driving the TC around bellevue, even though I did the drive down to portland so you would think i would be sick of driving already lol.
Hey Tomas whats the process in becoming and admin or moderator ? I'm on here alot more and i tend to see a few threads that need locked up and or removed. Just want to help out the community with keeping this site up to date.

The process starts when the Admins, SuperMods and Mods thinking that more moderators are needed in a specific area (a region or a specific car model).
We then ask for recommendations from the SuperMods and Mods.
We check out the posting and infraction histories, and try to get a feel for how those folks interact with others - are they helpful, do they volunteer information freely, do they appear to have the respect of others, are they well known, visible, in the community?
Those that make it through the initial screening are then asked if they would want the job if offered.
Eventually, someone is offered the job(s) and becomes a moderator for some small portion of the site.
"Seasoned" Mods are the "pool" for the SuperMod ranks when we need to add at that level. The experience they have gathered at the moderator level in a small portion of the site is very helpful for them when they move to a position that can affect ALL areas of the site.
The SuperMods also act as "trainers" for the Mods, offer guidance, and answer questions.
Now, I know that we have some areas of the site that are not covered as well as we would like, and could use some "hands-on" from a moderator that is involved with those areas and has the desire and dedication to take the knocks involved with doing a moderator's job.
What area might YOU be looking at?
