Like I said in my lastest thread.

People who can't drive trucks should not.

I think I would cry myself to sleep.

Its the Ferrari's fault! Also people who cant drive cars shouldn't drive either! This happened where my parents live. The Ferrari tried to pass on the wrong side of the road cause "hey when you drive a Ferrari you do what you want". The F150 pulled out when the car in front of the Ferrari was turning which he legally can do! The Ferrari was obviously speeding as thats how it went under the truck.

Maybe you also shouldnt assume before posting!

The Ferrari may have been doing an illegal pass on the right but, in most states you must yield the right away to all vehicles (no matter what there doing) when leaving a private driveway, yours theirs, including commercial parking lots. I know I lost a case where a lady passed a truck on the left (no turn lane either)turning right into a parking lot. I pulled out turning left and the Karmin Ghia hit my 70 Cutlass in the driver door hard enough to spin me 90 degrees. In my opinion both were at fault but the court will probably pin it on the truck.

You cant pass on a double line so I dont see how it would be the trucks fault regardless. But The ferrari was speeding and sped up and you know how fast they can do it so the truck probably gauged the distance but didnt know the ferrari was gonna try its best1/4 time right there! LOL

ROFL to Kanchi! I wish it was me! Put that dumb butt ferrari driver in his place! Cant wait to get mybrush guard and run them and lambos off the street!

depends on the insurance laws in the area. if the loss happened in contributory negligence state, that means that if both drivers have partially contributed to the accident, even at least 1%, they're barred from recovery from the the other person's insurance carrier and responsible for their own damages. the truck pulling out from the car wash has automatically contributed to the collision because he is pulling onto a roadway and has to yield right of way to vehicles already established in the roadway. how ever, if that state has a boulevard law, the ferrari has to be legally traveling on the road, so him being on the wrong side of the road, he could be considered to be partially contributing, unless there is a valid reason for him to be going on the wrong side of the road, i.e. construction, disabled vehicle etc.

the ferrari has right of way, but depending on the circumstances of why he was crossing the double yellow line, he could be considered to be partially at fault. speed is not a factor in this collision as the reason why the truck is on top of the ferrari is because it is low and ramp shaped while the f-150 has high ground clearance and minimal over hangs.

now if this loss happened in some kind of comparative negligence state, then the percentage of how much each driver contributed will be the percentage of the damages they're responsible for paying. if i were the guy with the f-150, i'd be sweating because if he is found completely or partially at fault, and his insurance has to pay for the repairs, it is gonna be expensive, and if his limits are low, he'll be screwed.

you should get a conversion kit for a secondary windshield wiper fluid container, convert it to a drivers PP bottle. place it under the steering wheel in the cab, and have it come out the front bumper, or out of the drivers side wheel well. that way you could PEE on them, AS WELL as peeing in the corner...

Now if you read closely you will see I did not target truck drivers, just those who were incapable of driving their truck. You should only be offended if you are indeed one of those truck drivers who cant drive their truck properly. Not saying you are. I totally agree, people who cant drive(in general) shouldn't. I see way more a**holes driving trucks who take 20 minutes to park it and its still not right than those driving cars(opinion not fact, so relax). I cant wait to buy my Tundra so Im not hating on truck drivers. Forgive me if I didnt go fact hunting beyond the video before I posted my ignorance all over this forum. I will formally apologize to anyone I offended by my rude remarks. Maybe Im totally wrong again and feel free to correct me, it does appear the truck is taking a left across a double yellow which last time I checked is illegal. According to the video the F-150 driver hit him and kept going and thats how he climbed on the hood.
