Wow Glen, when I saw the thread I was thinking, oh no, Glen bent a rim, but that is insane. Good to hear that PIAA is taking care of you, EYES ON THE ROAD, lol. Remember, most accidents happen when people don't pay attention on familiar roads, space a corner, that kind of thing, and potholes pop up out of nowhere.

I don't think he can get another wheel out of this since PIAA has the cracked one. I would think the city would want the broken one.............

Anyways, glad to hear that it is taken care of. Might go after the tire cost from the city though.......

Dude, I feel for you. I went through a similar instance in Boston. I filed a claim for two new tires but I know that it takes forever for the city to pay back. Also get a pic of the hole soon because I know I did and Im glad. Only a few days after I had my run in with the hole, the city filled it in.

Here's pic of hole I hit:

As long as it is legit, they should pay.........unfortunately, when i hit a curb and busted my rim on an old car, it was my fault........

don't feel too bad, someone in my neighborhood hit a light pole yesterday and it ripped the front wheel off her full size Chevy pickup. I couldn't believe it!!
