Default Rock Chip Repair

SOB! I just got one an hour ago on I-5 near the Stanwood exits.

So I did a search here on rock chip repair and several people said to go to Auto Zone and get a cheap repair kit.

My questions are, do they really work and do you recommend it and does Shucks carry it too?

Oh, and here's another question. Do you think it'll be fine until mid July and not spread if I were to wait and see/call if my insurance company will fix it for free (several people said they would, I have Progressive if you're in the "know").

I just don't have time to run to Auto Zone or call and wait for Progressive to come out and fix. We're leaving and driving said xB to TN and then up to WI here on Monday morning.

Ideas, suggestions, comments, whatever! Please help if you can, I'm running on limited time! TIA!!!

Just wait, if it spreads then replace the windshield. I have state farm and pay 50.00 for windshields.
