No no no... the meet wouldn't be inside the casino, it would be outside of it. Also, you can be underage in the casino if you go to the restaurants or buffett. Plus, and I forgot to mention, the Casino also has lots of covered areas for us to hang out at under if it rains.

Alderwood mall... would we hang out in the covered parking if it rained?

The only problem I have with Alderwood is there is that it might as well be Northgate or Seattle for me as it's not really North, it's just barely in Snohomish County and is 35-40 miles away from me still. I guess when I think "Northend", I think Everett-North of Everett at the very least.

But where ever it is, I'll try to make it.

Ok theres a meeting supposed to be Nov. 21st. So lets use that date as a kick off date...
Maybe set it for the Saturday, 18th instead.

Hmmm... If the Everett Mall had covered parking that would be nice. I dont know of any other area's where there's covered parking because of rain.

Northgate was a huge success... hopefully some of those members show to "north end" ones.

If everyone is serious about Tulalip I could go and ask the management.

I'm down too! Its too bad we couldn't alternate locations or something! I agree that the alderwood mall is great for the rainy time of year, but we shouldn't forget about the drive for all members that want to attend including from the South and North. BTW has anyone checked with the Alderwood mall that it will be ok? Also has anyone thought about what will happen to the parking areas as we get closer to the holidays (shrinkage)?

Alderwood Mall has 3 undercover lots... under the theatre (no spots usually) JCPenny Lot and Nordstroms

I know it wouldn't be inside the casino.. but it was just mentioned that we could go inside and stuff.. but for those not 21, we couldn't go. But I suppose there are areas where 21 and under can go. I think it'd be cool if everybody could go inside and we could have dinner inside.. then whoever is old enough to go play slots or whatever can run off and do that while the rest of us chill or find something (BINGO! lol) else to do. I think Tulalip would be fun.. it's cool looking anyway.

And as far as parking space becoming less available.. maybe if somebody is in contact with wherever the meet is held they will allow us to cone off an area for Scions only.. maybe that might bring more attention! Anyway.. yeah.

Alderwood has been tried before, like Jenna said it might as well be Northgate.

I don't think that tulalip would have a problem with us in the corner of their parking lot. Even when it first opened it wasn't full.

We could park off to the side at the outlet mall If anyone asked we could say our wife/husband/bf/gf are inside shopping. Also there are places to get snacks and if the weather is bad they have cover to get under.

The parking lot of the old Food Pavillion that Jenna was talking about would work on nice days.

I think if we are going to have a North End meet it should be up north.

Not being north would kind of defeat the whole purpose... And I'm pretty sure the entire casino's property will never be full.. it's huge.

The tulalip one might draw more attention too if we were to park near I-5...maybe have a dealership supplied banner to tie between cars...The only thing that bothers me is as we near the holidays parking at the malls might become more and more scarce, and if we're vying for spots with shoppers, frustratons and possible incidents (door dings, etc.) increase.

Don't get me wrong, I am not trying to shoot down an idea and not have a solution but I gotta say, Nothgate is awsome because there is not nearly as much traffic/cars. But Alderwood can look like Iraq around the holidays, trust me I've been there driving around the WHOLE mall looking for a spot. I would hate to have a spot to meet and have 3 people be able to park and the others swarming around looking for an hour. So personally I gotta say, Tulalip inthe winter, Maybe Alderwood in the spring/summer?

I think that the parking lot of the Casino, right next to the outlet mall, remains empty at all times but good point, that should be looked into. And now that I think of that spot, I think they might have some atrocious outdoor stage now where I thought would be a great spot to park near covering. Certainly they'd of taken that down for the winter though, right?

So just so I'm clear here...this M&G is going to be in addition to the Northgate one correct?
