SEMA 2008!!! (No 56K, DSL even be weary!) pics pg.1&3!
So as some of you may or may not know I attended the SEMA show this year. Actually I have been fortunate enough to go several times, but this one was a little more special than past trips. We flew in on Monday, and had a little bit of a rough landing but the night ended well with a trip to the buffet at the Monte Carlo hotel/casino, where we were also staying. The next morning we hopped a bus to the show over at the neighboring NY NY.
We started out Tuesday in the tools/accessories/electronics section. Lots of cool stuff as usual, was really suprised to see Junction Produce, Mine's (complete with their right-hand drive GTR), and 2 cool xB's from Kicker and Earthquake. We then browsed new products section (huge), then the Scion booth. Spent a bunch of time in the front part of the Central hall, then was lucky enough to meet up with TROY SUMITOMO!!! He showed us a set of 5AD's new rims nicely displayed on a GS400, then we got a photo-op and got told about the Scion afterparty!!!!! If that wasn't eough we got to see the 5AD ISF, and got to go test drive the IS350/ISF's !!!! They are freakin' sweet!!
Wednsday we finished out thefront part of the central hall, then stood in line for an hour and a half and got something my dad had always wanted but we had always missed....Carol Shelby's autograph & a pic! WOW!!!! We rounded out the day at SEMA viewing both of the new 5AD rims(sorry guys no pics
), and stopping by the Wold Racing booth and meeting Chris Rado!!!!!! Later that night (with some help from highvoltage1) we registered and gained entrace into the Scion SEMA party at Prive @ Planet Hollywood. What can I say the party was poppin'! TONS of people, free drinks and Scions...dosen't get much better than that. We saw a few people get STUPID DRUNK, but I won't name names, but you know who you are 
. I have to say the highlight was the coat check guy that had a huge pile of goodie bags that spend almost the whole night fighting off people either trying to snag a bag or bully him into giving them one (btw thanks buddy ). I have to say it was crazy to see a line of people waiting to get in @ 1am, when the party was over a 2:30!
Thursday we finished up the central hall and talked to a tons of cool people! We got a bunch of info and ideas, and really pushed for Scion parts. After finishing up there we went to the wheels & tires section and hit it hard & fast! Some cool stuff @ Rays/Volk, and talked to a few people but all in all ...meh. The day started looking up later when we got an invite to the industry afterparty @ Club Asia @ Planet Hollywood! We got in no prob, but it was a big time sausage fest...and drinks were hella expensive (Amaretto sour + a bud light = $19 ). We talked to some really cool SO-CAL SE GUYS, and just after they left we got in VIP thanks to Troy!!!!!! 
Friday we skipped the show, walked around a little then headed out to the airport @ 1pm. At 8pm we boarded the plane and got home Sat, a little after 1am....Anyways on with the pics!!!!!

Oh come on Z.. Name names on who got drunk there is tons of photo proof. You forgot to mention that you were partying next to some long time industry people and a D1 driver.
Good writeup, good pics, I need to get mine up here when I get home, speaking of that I have to get up in 5 hours and have Mike Ma take me to the airport..
