sigh-on, i live in nyc. but i would rock a mural with you if i was closer still got a ____load of caps left too lol i even have montana cans for when i paint my stockies.

a hood wouldnt be a bad idea kanchi, its a decent size id just have to use thin caps. it would be better to airbrush a hood i think

btw i was mostly a bomber not so much a piecer but i still got dirty with murals lol. i gave up graff due to getting arrested so much that NYC cops specifically precincts in queens knew my tag, when i get pulled over some of the older cops still know me haha. i kept getting felonies after felonies and fines/restitution, community service and even going to rikers island for 30 days wheni was 17. lol it didnt stop me but then i gave up wasnt worth it and i was VERY lucky i didnt go to an actual long term prison like upstate.

graff's a felony here i was lucky enough to get them lowered to misdemeanors but if i were to get arrestes again itd be an automatic yr in upstate correctional, ive been bagged i think 4 or 5 times for graffiti lol

yea alot of kids ruined "graffiti" IMO. Crossing out bombing's with some stupid gang tag or w/e. I got out of my tagging crew cause it was starting to turn into a gang..i just wanted a group of friends to show off their art..not claim territory or disprespect other peoples art.

yeah i ran for a few Crews back in the day, i still hangout with the majority of them now.

i was very down to earth when it came to Lining other people or Going over Pieces. If i went over Fill ins and Throwies i was fine with it, i had a few people touch my ____ and barely even cover it up with some Toy ____ they were getting ____ed up LOL

that upset me more, if your gonna go over me MAKE SURE its big enough to cover me out completely and it better be something of the same nature to what i had up, better not be a Freehand or something sloppy bc if it was im going back to reapply what i had and im going to all the spots you have and going over them lol

My exhusband has always gone by the name Tag due to his art addiction (which isn't a bad thing) and he had me watch this old skool documentary about it all, VERY interesting and now when I see it, I can respect it..well except the kids that don't do it for the art reason

old documentary that was based in NYC in the 80's? was it called 'Style Warz'?

i actually know a few of the dudes on there now. in there late 40's. Dude name CAP1 use to go over all the train pieces when subway trains were bombed, people were lucky to have it up for a day or 2 till he got around to it. Graffiti now and then has changed in NYC. trains were filled with art and it looked like crap, but due to technology and stuff paint is easily taken off if anyone ever decided to paint on trains again.

before what trains looked like here, they were even red..

now

trains then looked rusty and dirty compared to now

great documentary, graff back then was actual art compared to alotof what it is now here.

there lotss of graff videos out to see. "dirty hands" is a classic from out in germany. "F** graff 1/2/3" are other greattt videos of writers here in NYC. these are actual videos taken of writers so u actually see how it is ona typical night.
