seats weather brand name or no name are just that. weather they are made of prf, ck, or cf.
even when they are just fabric. i have stripped down and reupholstered
enough stuff plus seen plenty of ____ty burnt seats to see what makes them good or bad.
now i'm not condoning crap. i don't like crap you don't like crap. but just
because a product doesn't have a shiny badge and some guy in a racing
suit being paid a butt load of money to smile and show off his pearly whites
for a product he could care less about does not qualify or condemn that
product as being useful , terrible, or even maybe a better product.
in the land of the rising sun fads are like ripples in a pond during a
rainstorm. so everyone wants something a celebrity is selling. fact of the
matter most popular jdm cars cant pass safety crash standards here in
the us.
so just because a chain reaction of Asian proportion occurs doesn't make it
a noteworthy one. i mean look up really great jdm products , or THIS! http://www.google.com/search?source=...&aq=f&oq=&aqi=.
(ewww) just click on the link! go to the first entry about the ramen. do
it!!!).
so what does that say about the engineering put into the products the
Japanese themselves use.
i roll red otto-r's (ebay) but in reality they are comfortable seats and
pretty strong. and they can hold a guy who is 240 lbs in his seat while he drives like a bat out of hell.
while i agree there are some things you cant skimp on like cams, seat
belts, or air, i also feel that there's a lot to be said for products that don't
depend on such high manufacturing specifications.
oh speaking of if you think your stock seat belts are any safer than the
ebay ones think again (research the term inertial release, or inertial unlatching)
have a good day!

dude erik sorry to here they arent real. The first three signs they were fake passed the test so it sucks to be let down in the end. But hey i had to look at the real pic three times to tell. im pretty sure like only 1% of the people at a car show would knwo anyways. I woulda just repped them and if nobody said anythign i wouldnt have said anythign. now if they asked i wouldve said something...maybe!

^^ since I own bride seats and like 3 other people on my team I could tell the major differences right off the bat, but I mean if the seats are sturdy and can hold you if you were in an accident then thats what really matters, safety.

Yea but would you seriously noticed the latch and the indent on that piece?

I say rock em and save up for authentic brand name seats later! That seat is like $1500 per seat for an authentic one! I would love to have the real ones I just got the Sparco r505 Torino in black with grey stitch. Love em!!! I'll post pics up later

They felt sturdy enough...I think I will get brackets, a good harness and go from there as if i change my mind i can still use that stuff down the road on the real deal...thanks for your opinions guys. I appreciate the feedback for and against!
