Its just like the quick release hub in that it gives you extra clearance to get out of your car. I didn't even know I got it until my friend that went to SEMA told me about it. All I know is... I drove the car to LA and when I picked it up it had some vinyl stickers, a new DC Sports exhaust and a funky flip up steering wheel that gets rid of my cruise control buttons and disables my traction control

Do they still have the old parts? I'd have them ship them to you if they do!

God I hope they did not toss the original parts, that will get spendy to replace if you trade car in having to find new ones......plus I thought you already had a sweet exhaust on it already.....

Pete, how well does that stuff work? does it adhere well, and not come off when it gets rubbed?

worked pretty good. it takes a lot to rub it enough to make the stock color come out.

its easier and it can turn out a lot cleaner looking than trying to re-upholster everything.

well tomorrow after work and after i let my car cool down i will be installing the new header i had a buddy at work look at the headers in my car and he touched them and said oh this is diffidently blown i fan feel a soft spot on your header just means that the header is blown so thank god i bought a new one and it got here this fast so as soon as i get it on i will take pics of it and i just hope it lines up with the s-pipe and does not come close to the fans like the last one did and start to melt it LOL. So if anyone wants to come over and watch and help or what ever just pm me. later

I tried the upolstery paint on a piece and it came out fine but still think I am gonna redo the headliner......everything else is going CF.....got a few tricks up my sleeve......next show season may be a decent one for the car if I can pony up about $2500 in the next 6 months to get it all done......
