Installed Tanabe Sustec Pro II coilovers today AND 55w 6000k Bi-Xenon HID's
I want to give a SUPER BIG thanks to Shawn for doing 98% of the install and another SUPER BIG thanks to tyler for the other 2% and the useage of his garage!!....little technical difficulty in the end being that the rear right would "clunk" if you looked at it funny....reseated the rear spring to match the drivers spring and its mostly a non issue now unless i hit a hard bump....but i can live with that cause i try to avoid those any how.
OMFG the HID's are bright as H-E-Double-Hockey Sticks....and thats before i turn the high beams on.....i feel special now cause im the only one that has headlights that "clunk" (its by design, they move upward / downward for high beam)

Glad things worked out Josh - you had me worried a little when you texted me last night lol.
It was a good day -long, but fun. Yes - thanks Tyler for letting us use your garage and providing the heart shaped love pizza, it was yummy

Sound deadening material?
My friend told me that most interior noise is due to the wheel wells. Don't know if that is accurate or not, but It would seem to make sense? Maybe install dynamat(sp?) on the interior of the wheel wells and floor maybe that would help?

that is odd 'cause i didn't have any noise with them - maybe you should all throw a couple hundred pounds of mdf wood, amps & subs back there for extra weight lol
either way, i'm glad the products are still working

I'm kinda parting out. I'm trading my KW V2 Coilovers for a EibachProKit/KoniSport combo for better comfort yet sporty daily driving. And also taking the trunk set up out for a more utilitarian and lightweight set up.

Looks like you may have - i sold my coil overs & sparco seats already. i'm trying to get the cage & system sold.
I'm buying a house so i'm going to focus on that this year and then come back to the car after i take a break from the show scene & think about what I want to do next

Yes there is huge amount of wheel niose generated in our cars, some Edead liquid, then some .120 over that then some .25 ove rthat and it gets much better.......
Also the lower the car goes the louder it seems to go......

Well I don't know how accurate I am, I just got the info from my friend who used to do audio installs for Car Toys... (for whatever that's worth) It sounds like it would make sense though... Kind of like how the wall beams in a house carry sound through walls. Meh... just an idea.

The deadening goes inside the car not outside......have you sat in Cindys car with the stereo going and then stepped out side, there is littel to none sound gettign out,it is quiet ont he road,........$300 in sound deadening did its job well......you just gotta do it in stages so you see the benifts of each area it is applied......

Re: So who is working on anything new.........
well the sound everyone is referring to is road noise, not the clunk, road noise didnt change in my car with the coilovers... so sound deadning will not resolve the issue its a mechanical clunk that has to do with the design of the rear end
