So who is working on anything new.........

we've both rolled our fenders considerably and pulled a bit too, so we've got a lot more room to get flush.
i still only rub on the front driver side, no matter how much of that fender liner i cut away. maybe i'll finally get it when i put the camber bolt in that side finally. didn't bother to put it in at the same time as the other because the other was the only one out of spec.

by adjusting all the 10m bolts holding your fenders on.
thing is moving them only enough so you dont get them unaligned and looking strange. you may be able to flex
the well out (not with rolling) but by actually physically warping the wheel wells out.
i have done this with a few of my old cars to fit higher offset wheels (although not for looks but better traction)
they had wells large enough only to fit thin traded rims/wheels so i fixed it.
and if you guys have the goal of dumping your cars you may have to do away with the stock wheel liners and
make custom ones or run without them completely. but the overall look of a car without them can seem
chintsey (voids inbetween body-panels in the daylight can look unsightley)
problem is you will lose some fender rigidity and down-force.. the fender liners and undercarriage covers
cause a vacuum pocket at high speed. same reason people install splitters and canards. the also keep
the fenders from wobbling and vibrating at high speeds.
but realistically if you going low i doubt your worried.

yeah, we're way past the point of improved handling in our drops, it's for looks completely.
i'd love to modify a set of liners to fit the whole wheel wells mostly for not having discontinuous body panels and having a cleaner engine bay, i'm keeping my eye out for a front set.

I have both of my inner fender liners out personally, but as far as having them to create down force, i dont think ive heard of winner fender liners doing that, it actualyl sides like it wouldnt help with down force atall because air goes up into the wheel well and pushes the car up, but who knows im probably wrong.

without the rounded well the air goes up and gets stuck in a static state that fills faster in many cases than it exits.
the fender liners can be reinstalled up higher with good epoxy to stick them to the fender, anything can be modded to work if you try........
use your imagination.......you can get junk fender liners at body shops for free and cut and make them fit anywhere you need,a few rivits and such and it is good to go......

guess i should rephrase, it makes downforce by creating suction under the car at high speed. negative pressure causes this without the lower liners it releaves the suction caused and forces the air our through the fenders and the engine compartment. good for cooling in a way but not for handling and maybe the fender liners.

WHAT? Stoptech Stage II Upgrade WHAT?
All I have to do now is the lines/flush when mike has another day off.
Nate warned me about the hard lines on the car being brittle, we're going to be super careful with those.
Also two of my slip bolts were seized basically, had to pry them off the calipers, yay!
Did the whole brake job myself beside some instruction from Mike while he was detailing his Civic to put up for sale. First time! Go me!

Fun is not the word to describe how much trouble Mike and I went through with car stuff today... oh my goodness.
Working on stuff with his car from 11:30-4, then doing my car from 4:30-10:15...
Also got that other front camber bolt installed, so I'll adjust the rear driver down a tiny bit to match the passenger rear and take it back in to Firestone.
Nate also warned me about camber wear on my rears, last time I went in though, I was in spec with plenty of room for adjustment they said, so let's hope I can get away in spec w/o needing the rear arms... those would be a pretty penny that I don't have right now haha.
