need advice from anyone with experience installing a JVC deck...more specifically, adding an amp to a JVC KD-HDR60.
Radio has tons of features and puts out great sound...until I added an amp. I do know that the deck output for the sub RCA's is only 2.5v. But nearly no sound comes out of the speakers connected to the amp.
I am very experienced installing my own sound equipment, but this just boggles my mind.

Check the channel to see if it is bypassed......my 5 channel did that till I realised I had the channels in bypassed on the amp.
And I think those wheels on the 240 need a test fit on Egplant.....

My frickin headlights keep fogging up after i did my retro. Just where the blinker and the side marker is. I used the DAP quikseal and placed like 5 of those anti-moisture packs in each headlight. I guess it doesn't bother me as much now since I don't want to take it apart again.

if you still have leaks pull them out and recheck them because if you need silica packets in them there's something not right.
you may not have too open them up again. i usually when reheating the headlights will just put the two peices back together with the factory sealant barely touching heat them up while just slightly stuck together and than pull them out while hot put the lense side down on the carpet and push.
while its still hot put the four rear screws in and tighten them down slowly and evenly like lugs. the glue heat sealant will spread and tighten evenly.

and its good to see trung posting again...

I'll have pics up hopefully this weekend.
The thing is that I wiped all of the factory sealant and use the DAP one instead.
i had this happen and swore i sealed them well. ended up doing a re-retro fit of my lights and found a small hairline crackt hat hadn't been sealed.

Just had my tC in the air for about 2 hours while I worked on some little things.
Lubed my struts, checked all the torques, painted the hood latch relocation metal piece thing (Pete + Erik + Brian know about this thing), cut away some inner fender stuff to make some more room and added some camber to my front driver wheel.
It feels good to get stuff off my checklist.
Also going to exchange these standard acorn black/extended/open lugs for tuner black/extended/open lugs, yay!
Anyone have a hook up for swapping my valve stems to something black instead? I'll need all 4 tires off, valve stems replaced, and then all 4 tires back on... I suspect my honda friend Mike or someone at Toyota can help me during their lunch break but thought I'd check here while I was thinking about it.
