Default Possible Pin-striping PDX

Kind of a GI..but
Wanting to get some pinstriping work done and just curious if anyone has had any work done by this guy:
http://www.myspace.com/spiderpinstriper
Saw some of his work at a local hotrod cruise-in but didn't get to check prices or overall quality.

Alternately, if you can point me in the direction of a reputable artists, please PM their info. Thanks SL Fam.

Please don't flame me if this is in the wrong spot....it will make me cry. You don't want to make a grown man cry, do you?

The pics on his site look good and he has one of himself with a member of ZZ Top, can't top that, lol. I know of a guy, and the next time you go to Denver Colo. let me know and I'll give you his name, lol. Talk to the guy, get references and check out his stuff. I like a good pinstripping, thought about it for my car.

oooh, what bike!? Maybe I'll get off my ___ and actually fix my bike so we can take a ride. Although my bike isn't really "fast" so much as it is "a fun commuter bike."

Be careful out there man, especially if you're a new rider with a powerful bike.

im going down to portland to pick it up today! i wont be riding it for a few weeks though. because i will be (as you stated above) a new rider with a powerful bike so im taking a class in late september to learn how to ride and get my endorsement. i hope that gives you plenty of time to fix your bike up because that would be fun.

ill post pics later today

Do you know how to ride already / Do you want to borrow my bike to learn? It runs fine, but definitely needs a tune up before it goes on serious rides. It might have a loose tappet or even partially bent rod, but really only results in a metal-metal knocking noise after it's been run for a while and the motor is warmed up.

It's a small bike, but tons of fun and very easy to learn on as it's very controllable power and handling wise. I don't care if you drop it as it's easy to fix and I really don't care if you nuke the motor as I'll be rebuilding it later anyway.

It probably wouldn't live through a trip all the way from Ballard to Fed.Way, but if you want to swing up to Ballard we can hang out and I'll let you muck around on it as long as you want.

The reason why you don't see bikes lowered too often is that it typically messes up the factory suspension geometery making it so the bike won't be 'as good' as it was set up from the factory. Similar thing to when you lower a car too far and it makes it harder to handle instead of better.

Not a big deal unless you track it or push the bike really hard. Well, at least hard enough to really test it's suspension. The only thing you might notice is that it's slightly harder to make tight turns.

Chris, I PM'd my number back to you. I guess I'll go down and clean up the bike now.
