Yeah, it looks fine for me, and it fit right up, unfortunately for Cobija it wasn't cut right or something so his didn't mount up no matter how we tried to get it in there, so I guess your mileage may vary. He ended up getting the TRD one which should be here already, haven't talked to him in a few days.

But yeah, it's a front strut bar, they serve like 0 purpose on our cars other than looks anyway.

I wouldn't hate a better fitting wheel, but I love the way 18's fill it up compared to 17's, I just think 17's look tiny, and fitting an 18 gets pricey when you look at "legit" wheels (I don't really care, just there are a few I'd like and I'm gonna try for those first). Sigh. I've at least got the coils and the camber bolts and such, and I have new tires too, so an 18x9 or an 18x9.5 would be perfect for my 235/40's, it wouldn't be as insane as a lot of people, but 215 on 10" wheels scare me..

pssh, it's a new age....legal or not. Seriously though, I'm not sure on the legality if headlight coloring. Plus, turbo's are illegal yet we still run them.

yeah but the cops will care more about discolored headlights then turbos. a turbo is in your engine compartment that is closed anyway. they would need a warrant to look in your engine bay and most of them don't care that much.
on the other hand, headlights are obviously illegal seeing how they are in the front of your vehicle for everyone to see. you will get pulled over for them because I'm pretty sure it is a primary moving violation

@ FuGativ3, you do raise some good points. I will say one thing though, "technically" tampering with the OEM headlights in any way is illegal....oh but I love my retrofit!!!

@ MooSE55, congrats on your project. I think doing your own garnish is the entry level body mod for beginners.

hey man if i were you i would install an extra set of backup lights for dot purposes before you seal them...so when your driving anywhere you may think youll get ticketed just flip the rocker switch so it turns those pretty lights white.

just a heads up you, if that is bondo you may want to save some time and re-do it now. The factory garnish is urethane so eventually the bondo/ body filler will seperate from the garnish. There is a urethane based body fill you can get at like Wesco, that will flex with the garnish that will last and not eventually crack like the bondo/regular body fillers eventually will do. Thats what I would do...
