To tint the front door windows, at Street Designs in Puyallup, was $43 & some change... I only did 35%-smoke cuz WA laws suck, but they have 20% & 15% if your willing to risk an encounter with "the man". Give 'em a call they did a great job, I'm happy I finally got mine done. I've tried to post a pic, but I think the file size is too big :/ -Jester

So I got tweets in for a first testing....so far sound is incredable....

Then I decided to finally tune in the sub and box......my gains are set for correct power and such, sub hits....ask anyone who has ever been in the car with me....

So today I turned on the Bass boost for first time, gave it 10%.....volume of sub now with deck volume at 25% is more than it was at 50% before with it off......

No slapping, clipping,or problems so gonna try it there for a few days and tune eq around......then go up another 10% and tune some more.....

I think by Toyota Fest it should be basically tuned in....gonna need more deadening....found all kinds of new rattles inside once I turned up the Bass Boost....lol....lots more rattles and I am sure the rear window is gonna pop ou tthe seal....

haha.......I cant hear nothing outside.......but to answer the question....yes there is some sound outside when it is turned up to 50% volume.....that was before the bass boost......directly outside the car with windows up,doors closed you can hear some sound.....walk 50 feet away and you can feel some sound.........

One 15" sub in a sealed 1.5cu box, inverted, with 600w going to it......loud....we are gonna see how loud I can get it.....I thought it was loud before I turned on boost.....it hits so hard before boost you feel air moving, hair moves, hat jiggles on head, and it hits you in the back hard enough that you think you got rear ended......

Now.....at 25% volume....which is giving sub about 175w.....air flow in car is moving, pressure is painfull to ears, yet beautiful at the same time.....hat could almost shake off head......outside......well I am gonna get a ticket and end my fun for the summer for sure........

now I got 9 days to tune eq down so I can bring boost up more without slapping sub,my goal is 50% on the boost.....it can take it now no issues, sub holds 1100w all day long and I am only feeding it with at max 750w,amp will push 800w before clipping.

Sub is the first one I have been able to turn on the boost,my 2 ID10s I was not able to turn it on more than say 3-4% and got clipping, loved those subs so turned it back off....came to find that instead of 600w going to them shared I was only giving them 350w shared and they were loud then....miss those subs.

This new sub, well it is a SQ sub beleive it or not....but it hits and also has huge presence in the cabin, out side the car,and in your neighbors house....lol

my goal is 135db.....i think I might be there, but gotta take out some tuning time to get comps right so they do not go harsh for high volume past 50%,above 50% I get cancellation and the sound drops,I think the waves are bouncing off side of car inside and hitting the next incoming wave and killing my sound.....this just started with the tweet install so it could be just a loose wire,I still need to pull everything once more and solder connections......

Anyone who would like to hear it at Toyota Fest is welcome to sit and bump with me.......it is a SQ system.....my tuning will take 6 more months to even it all out but that is normal, hard to tune driving down road and sitting in a parking lot is impossible....tune tune tune......

I may end up upgrading to a set of HAT comps....some of the best on the market right now....and if you trade them in,the manufacture gives you like 60% trade in value.....that is the stuff right there......great product and value as well.....but not cheap, their starter comps are $200 a set...well worth it if you have ever boughtcomps....lol
