AS some know I have been saving and planning and well the latest parts arrived......NST alternator and waterpump pully's and I also decided to push the envelope so to speak and try something no one has tried on a Yaris.....a set of Canards.......
Sadly right now Egplant is resting up waiting for alternator fuse link as I blew it hooking alternator back up.....hoping that is all that blew, will find out tomorrow.
Wanted to thank Travis for all the help with the install, short of the fuse blowing it was a super easy install,we spent mroe time troubleshooting to see what all blew than the install....lol....poor Travis feels bad for it happening but it is jsut part of modding a car,he is very knowledgable and a very good mechanic.....plus he explained how a turbo works and all the parts and such he is doing on his car.....I was amazed he did not smack me for not understanding it all and him having to explaine it....lol
So here are some pictures.....
Canards were won on ebay for $36 and $15 shipping....figured it they dont work out somebody will buy them for a great deal....but I think they are gonna work fine....

Get her up and running yet? notice any gain from the pullies? Or are they more for looks? What trick did you use to get the alt. pully bolt off? just curious.
Waiting to see the canards installed

Got car back up and running.......honestly I am not sure if the pullies are doing much or if the freezing cold air is.....but the car feels a little bit more peppy....I think the crank pully probably makes the most change,I am waiting to try out one from Micro Image that Garm is having produced instead of the NST...so for now they are mostly decoration.
As requested the canards,I tried them high and I tried them low and went for low......they are a bit over the top but they look good.
Not sure what to do to the stripe yet may go get a chunk of white and a chunk of red and wrap the canard to complete the stripe or maybe just pull the vinyl all together....

Really like the red and white stripe, hope you find a way to keep it.
