Well got the passenger seat out to put the corbeau one in but we can't seem to get the airbags to work now. We put a resistor in the drivers and that worked out but not with the passenger. We spent time looking up tips/tricks for the passenger but no luck. So as of right now I have a 1 seater car lol. If you have any ideas or anything, do tell

What year is the car.

what resistor did you use....are you sure it was correct....are you sure it wastouching the contacts good.

I did Larry's wich is an 08 and Brads which was an 06 and got both to work.

Brads had a sensor in the seat cushion that we had to put in the new seats,Larrys we had to wire down the sensors and put them under the seat on the floor.

But.......goto microimageonline.com and under the toyota, and yaris sections there is the airbag module that I have that makes most all toyota passenger seats work....plug and play....

Give me more info and I will tell you what to do.....

By the way did Pete get that sour look the girls give me when I have them sit in the seat.....and if so assure him he will be able to be pried back out...lol

Year is 2007 and not sure on the resistor, Pete picked them up from some surplus shop. He tricked the driver side to think the airbag plug is connected but the passenger isn't recognizing it. I do have a sensor in the passenger seat which we didn't remove so that may be the issue.

Haha, I don't believe he got the sour look, he doesn't care for my seats though, too small

Yes the resistors were correct. And as far as a sensor or box for her passenger seat the angle and impact sensors (all four) seem to have leads soldered to the frame of the chair. The box that hooks up from the ground harness to the connecting box that hooks up to those sensors is not connected.

Pretty sure fine contac, but just to settle it ill snip the lead off the airbag and solder it to the resistor...

And hey I may be tall and getting old and fat but that doesn't mean you need to poke fun just because you can squeeze into any seat including a set of "baby" recaros...lol jk jk lol

Now I dissapear yet again

that require a lot of work and money to do. i would recommend you have a shop do it for you so that way it isn't your fault if something goes wrong. most shops guarantee everything they touch so i would go that route. if you do it your self then you are asking for something to go wrong.

I wouldn't want to try to swap that in without a full wiring harness, shift linkage, and steering column as well. I think at this time for 20 HP it might not be worth it, especially with an A/T...love the idea of a 6-speed tho.
