Curtis,

I have a set of 12" kickers if you would like to buy them. They were in my tC for about two week and barely got used. Never got them dB tested but it thumped hard.

I already have a "good enough" mono block to power my 12", I am hoping to upgrade that further down the line. But right now I was looking at picking up some Type-R components with a 5 channel.

Any incite guys?

I think you should buy my set of kickers. All you need to do is get the box painted to match your car or get it wrapped in something. :-)

^^I wasn't thinking when I typed that. When/if I get my hands on a 5 channel, I will be selling my mono block.

Ha ha, well mine are the kicker CVR's cost me a butt load and will let them go fairly cheap. The entire set up with amp cost me almost 1200. I will let the enclosure and subs go for like 300. LOL :-P

Top that Brian. ha ha :-P

ha ha, I could. Just not sure how much room Curtis will have left. LOL

I love these subs and if I cant find them I will get a smaller enclosure and shove them in the subbie. LOL

Ohh on another note, the CF enclosure is done. Well I just need one last part to finish it.

Here is my question now. Should I make the false floor and suede it or try to find somewhere that will do a CF overlay on it for me.

I can do overlay........probaly the only one in area.......will work for beer and gas.......I worked at it for 2 years for Boeing........know my stuff and know where to get local for fairly cheap......will teach you how to do ti for free.......if it is flat.....not hard to do......you could do it in 40 hours tops for a rookie.......trust me......beer and at worst I have to drive down adn lay it up depending on how harde it is,but a floor needs to be flat........so pretty easy.......

hmm ... well I might make two of these and take one up north and get some help doing the CF and the other one I will suede. This way I have some options.

I will let you know when I get to that point Brian. What would the cost of materials be?

it wil turn out........it is like fiberglass but with clean resin, and instead of laying cloth you lay CF....the resin takes about 4 hours to set up so you have about 3 hours to do anything to the cf you want......then you put on more resin and sand, then more and sand then rub compound then buff clear with polish and wax adn it is like waht you see online.

ha ha ha, I have never done fiberglass. :-P

I am sure I could figure it out though. It looks to be about 100 for the fabric and then whatever the resin and chemicels cost
