Heck, I just pulled 39MPG on a trip to Canada on Vanilla's OEM plugs. (I've also pulled 22MPG driving like a squirrel...)

something is seriously wrong with my box then, im gettin about 19mpg....my daily commute is from bothell to renton, 60mi round trip....dunno if thats it, or what....but mpg is crap right now, only approaching 29k, just did my oil change not too long ago, and had tires rotated...also.... do you have to use anti seize on the threads?

Anti-seize is HIGHLY remommended, especially in aluminum heads...

Just for a lark, make two changes in your car to see if they improve your mileage: Change to one of the Top Tier gasolines as recommended by Toyota http://www.toptiergas.com/retailers.html and add two pounds pressure to your tires all around (assuming you are running 29-30 right now).

Other than that, all I can do is suggest analyzing your driving style...

hehe i tend to have a lead foot...... ohh and i only buy gas from chevron or shell.....on RARE occasion i will buy ARCO but the Following 3 fillups are usually 89 Octane or 92 Octane from shell / chevron...hmm air in tires, i may need to check that.....ty for the pointers!!
