Default Thanks To Griot's Detail Products

Yesterday Griot's had a Car Club Day for Team Ascension. All I have to say is that Griot's is the most wonderful company! They were so kind and offered us to be the first club to use their new garage facilities. Not only that but Team Ascension is their first ever JAPANESE IMPORT car club. Here are some pics from yesterday!

First they gave us a continental breakfast while we washed cars during the "Car Corral":

Here are our group photos:

We learned how to detail a car exterior, how to claybar, what the difference between polishing & waxing is, as well as having all of our questions answered. Here is the garage and some learning pics:

Guy showed us all the great tricks and recommendations on how to maintain car exteriors!!!

Everyone was able to have hands-on training (here is Tracy trying out the orbital polish).

THANKS to Jason for all he did! He also had giveaways and a raffle for us!!!! Congrats to Chris & Dustin on winning the detail kits!

We even got a tour of the Research & Development garage...

And we all had fun in the store buying up tons of products! Between Team Ascension and individual member purchases...I'm sure it was a $2-3K day for them!

And here are some pics from our After-BBQ. Nate had some fun with the police. And Chris was embarassed as he was the Communi'TEA' member of the month and won the esteemed Tea Basket.

it was a great time, and I spent about $600 at the store and then went home and ordered another $160 worth of stuff I forgot, doh! The wife is taking away the credit card, lol.

Jenna, we got the sweatshirt from a flyer one of the kids brought home.

Yeah...Ruston cops were looking for someone to pick on as we drove into Pt. Defiance. Nate weaved a little and they picked him. He got a stern talking-to about keeping his glove box more organized and a few minutes later was let off with a 'warning'.

Those Griot's folks know their stuff, on both the technical and marketing side. It was super-tough to get out of their store without going completely berserk. If I weren't heading out of town tomorrow I probably would have gone completely berserk.
