OKAY!!! I just got off the phone with the Parade Marshall (not the same guy as last year Dustin..) We are limited to 12 cars total (as a matter of fact, they are working towards getting cars out of the parade in Tacoma alltogether) There is a good chance I will have a new xB and a new Tundra that leaves 10 additional... we can start with anyone unsure or tenative.. and I think it would be great to have an "alternate" list as we need to have every space filled... I will also need a driver for one of our rigs... perhaps we can do some initial brainstorming on the 25th at the pizza run.. also any ideas anyone have about flower arrangements (I have to have the flower order in by 3/16.. $70 for 1000) or other ways we can enhance our display (entertainment ideas)....

i say to make it sorta of fair for everyone who wants to participate, we tow a long trailer with the new xB on it, and build a float around that. i think seeing the big bad Tundra towing the xB with a float built around that would be cool.
either that or you make a 'santa's sleigh' idea with the Tundra as 'Santa' and the new xB as rudolf and the rest of us 'pulling' the sleigh. It will take a lot of slack rope and some careful driving but it would be kinda cool

hmmm... either way.. if the list remains... i'm still in... i was first to respond
the float idea does sound good... how hard would it be to make rotating platforms for our cars to spin on??

actually the real saying is **** UP because if you have ever seen a cow after it has died and in a few days it get bloated and then everything sticks up in the air, I guess belly up does work especially if you are trying to keep it kid safe. Even though I have heard use the expresion **** up

**** up is a bit on the crass side.. I can do crass however.. belly up rolls off the tongue better... kinda like "Cellar Door" 10 points for the first person to tell me where the latter term was made famous!!!

That explains the significanceof the term and the origins.. I was looking for the reference to the scene in the Movie "Donnie Darko" where Drew Barrymore (hot teacher) explains the nuance of the term...
