Yea I forgot to mention it, it is just for the 06... but no worries I'm sure other 1st gen years will eventually get one... good news for me is I need a windshield AGAIN

60,000 miles or 6 years? Seems I missed out by just a few thousand miles. Lame!

 

actually if you contact the scion higher ups or even the dealerships they may make an exception due to you being so close to the mileage.

 

I got one of these as well, seems as if it said that I could only do it if I got my windshield replaced before I got the letter?

 

They will reimburse you if you have changed your windshield. This is in response to complaints that the windshield was improperly installed. I know for our box the windshield cracked from the edge without any rock chips which the xB is notorious for getting. Unfortunately for me I don’t think we have the receipt or proof it was changed so I am out the $200. I need a new one too so it would have been nice.

 

lol Mine has only cracked from a huge rock that hit my window...ouch lol

 

im sure we could replicate the crack........lol
