The weekend of January 23-25th marked the 60th GRAND NATIONAL ROADSTER SHOW at the Pomona Fairplex in Pomona, So Cal !!!



This was my first Roadster Show and attending it with the two Roadster "Gearheads" aka DARREN & JPAT was quite an experience !!!

Couldn't think of anyone else who had helped me appreciate and learn more about this great AMERICAN PASTTIME !!!

Just a little comment on the dedication and devotion to keeping a showcar a showcar...The red deuce with the ferrari engine (pic 19) was built over 20 years ago by Roy Brizio and it still looks as new as it did then. Great pics!

 

Thanks for sharing the pictures. I really wish I would have known about this show cause I would have like to come out to check it out for sure. I'm really into these kind of cars!

nice call on the Brizzo rod, not many people notice the v12 farrari in it, i tryed to get a shot of its old school twin(i have a few shots of them both at the Peterson) too many people

You get to see a few nice cars here and there when you work 2 doors down from Brizio. Class act guy and class act work! Beautiful shop, beautiful cars...You always wonder what famous person is there whenever the camera crews are walking around.

brizio rocks! whats he been up 2 lately? didnt he make the glass model T VW kits? dosent he still make em???? tell him i want to build 1 look at Hot VWs feb 09 page 55! that what i want! a VW powered replica of the"speed sport roadster"! or atleast my idea of it lol

I don't care for lowriders but DANG, I can admire their work for days! That thing has got some serious talent and time tied up into the paint, huh? Sheesh....

 

yeah thats Mr.Cartoons ice cream truck...all the murals on the truck were done by him!!!! he got mad talent, he is a member of lifestyle c.c all there cars are super dope!!!
