You are eligible for traffic school every 18 months, so just don't eff up in the next year in half after you'll be OK in terms of insurance.
Last time I was in court if you plead guilty you wont be able to get traffic school. The arraignment is guilty, not guilty or traffic school. That was two years ago, maybe things have changed.

Hey the ticket is probably going to be about $150-$180 minimum. That's just for the ticket alone. Hopefully you were wearing and seatbelt or if you weren't the cop didn't write that down as another violation, because that will probably be about 80-100 more. As far as the ticket being 3 and 4 hundred dollars I dont know about that because I live in Ohio so I dont know how harsh they are over there. Also I reccomend if you dont already have them, get Allstate insurance, I got 3 tickets in my last pay period, and in this period that just came up my insurance still managed to go down $2/month...lol

Damn, I wish I could go to traffic school. The joys of having a Class A license.

My first ticket in '91 was for 85 in a 55. I was driving my '64 VW Notchback and had just shifted out of 3rd (car had a 1700cc built by me). I went to court just to fight for the right to go to traffic school. In CA 20 MPH over the speed limit is a 2 point ticket, 1 point for speeding and 1 point reckless driving. When the judge read 85 in a '64 VW, he didn't believe it and allowed me to go to traffic school.

P.S. I forgot to mention, the ticket was $680.00.
