Disappointed in the Scion Community...
Well I can't believe this would have happened to my car at the Premiere show help by Longo and M2 Motoring. I was checking out my car the day after the show and I noticed that someone had keyed my car at the show. The damage is on the passenger rear door, about 5 key marks, 3-4 inches long, one after the other. I know for a fact this was done @ the show because I washed my car before i left for the show at home and I cleaned it at the show.
I can not believe someone would do this at a show. Especially when its a show with all Scion owners. Why would you do this?? We are all Scion owners, here to check out each others cars and appreciate what each and everyone one of us has or hasn't done to our cars. I always though the Scion community was a very close knit community that are all enthusiastic and passionate about our cars and have some respect for each other. I guess not....
I will never find out who did this and I will not even try to pursue the culprit. Nor do I put blame to any single person or club.
All I can say to my fellow Scion owners who I know, are my friends and are trustworthy is to watch out. Have at least one person by your car or group of cars watching over it. I wish I did stay by my car but I had to work a booth, but that is the price i pay.
I guess in every car community, there is always a sour apple or group of them. To the person that did key my car, do use all a favor and sell your car and don't come back. We don't need your type of personality in the Scion community and your just ruining it for the rest of us. If you have a problem with me, come up to me. Don't be a coward and just key my car or anyone else s you don't like. I am not a fighter but I am willing to listen if you have a concern.
This incident is not gonna stop me. I am still gonna go to shows and hang outs like I have been for many years now and rep Scion.
It is unfortunate that this incident had to happen. I'm not looking for sympathy but rather warning others of the type of actions that have taken place. This shouldn't detour anyone from attending any future shows or meet but we all just need to be more watchful and careful at these events.

I figures it would be a fellow scion owner cause the shows was only for Scion owners. There was no general public coming in to check it out. This is what the show looked like
As you can see, a sea of Scion haha.

it is a shame none the less, but don't lose faith in the entire community man, stuff happens, whether it was another owner or some douche who hates scions because his gf left him for a scion owner. heck, what if it was some clumsy person with studded clothing or something accidentally brushed the car or something?
but damn, that looks like it was an awesome car show man, wish i coulda been there...

Yea you are right really doesn't matter it is still a horrible feeling when something like that happens to your car. I know I felt sick when someone keyed my old car and that was only a 2k car.
