Default some input from a cop

heres a few suggestions on how not to get a ticket
if your modified at all use a few simple ideas to keep 99% of the stupid cops(minus myself) from bugging you.

use black hoses, regular run of the mill hose.not silicone,or clear or fancy yellow.just plain black hose.keep things other than trim pieces from being shiny.most cops are just dumb when it comes to smog.and or dont care so they just right the ticket and let the courts settle it.a catch as we know helps with smog,so use a non shiny catch can.
exhaust it a damned if you do damned if you dont.at the end of a exhaust ticket as long as its not to loud when you get checked you will be ok.what i tell my friends to do is tell the cop the stock exhuast was damaged and i couldnt afford a oem part so i bought "X" part for half the price and im under the sound limit.so im ok with you giving me a ticket, ill pass.most cops will be thrown back and just not bother.if you do get a ticket just make sure your not to loud so when you get pulled over again you can show proof.also,if its in the same city you can say your being profiled.

90% of the vehicles in my work parking lot are modified.i received a ticket when i had my srt4.i was at disnyland when i got it.after trying to reason with the officer(and him being fully aware i to am a cop)he still gave me a ticket.so i took part of the day and went over to the police station and spoke with a sgt.i explained to him that i noticed that in the parking area for officers there were 10 trucks with aftermarket exhaust,a charger with what appeared to SLP pipes,a evo with an HKS system and a few other.oh and a diesel truck with a programmer in the window and 5" pipes coming out of the bed.i explained to him that i have taken pics of the vehicles and that if this ticket is not fixed(i had stock exhaust at the time) would call the papers and tell them about the double standard that was happening.needless to say the ticket was gone.

im not saying YOU should do the same but food for thought, they guys i work with are also into cars and we make it a point to learn whats REALLY illegal and whats not.you might want to learn about your local police.i find it hard to believe that theres not one truck with flowmasters or a harley with pipes at your local PD

easy,at the 15 day mark call the arresting agency and give the ticket info and see what they have on you.since the officer has the original he could easly catch his mistake and correct it on his end leaving you to get screwed.just make sure your in court the day the ticket says.if the courts only receive as much info as your ticket shows they throw it out.

i didnt pass my state ref smog inspection cause my car was too low!!!
wtf!

im on Tein SSP's wich im trying to sell with a nib EDFC, my stock shocks are TRD drop coils now im completly FUBARED

i dont think a stock xb can make it up to the rollers

the rollers are at a steep angle more than the truck ramps you can buy a auto zone

now i have to put my car completly back to stock or buy air ride and risk more tickets?

stock sucks and i cant afford to keep doing this to my car maybe i should just sell it and walk away from cars and take a bus? lol yeah right WTF CAN I DO?

any one go to rio hondo colledge and wanna test out the rollers with a stock xb?

i need to push back my court date and every thing till after xmass!

AHHHHHHHHHHHH this sucks!

even the stock wheels sit to low
either way the teins need to be taken off, as much as i like them they have to go

i think the 17's i have might do the trick on stock coils but im not into the nose bleed ride hight lol

i have to clear 7" or more to go up any ramp, at the moment im 3" of bumper clearance to the ground. my stocks tires have 1-1/2" taller profile than my works,

i got my car with the trd dropped springs if i prove to the ref and the cops will i still be able to clear up all this krap?

i will pass smog with out a question so this is just B.S. logic
you know right after the tickets delt with im going back to my evil ways and slam my car in protest lol

dam im a thread killer

any way been back to the state reff 3 times! dont ever go to rio hondo colledge state reff!

my car was to low-so i got air bags to get up the ramps and i wanted them any way. i found out that they were useing truck ramps!
when i went back they changed them to car ramps!

next my car passed but didnt!,- my intake's CARB sticker is for a 05 and older my cars a 06! so no pass! he didnt say jack the last time i was there!

and on the way home i noticed a bead popped on one of my 17's! but i cant say jack till it passes and i look at it as im being punnished buy the gods of the CHP. no matter what my car isnt according to the law "legal" i dont think any of us are

karma sucks

now i have to put on my stock intake and go through it all over again

and beg for the court to be easy on me

the QUOTA dosent exsist any modifications arent leagal

Default Um, huh!?

I don't want to sound like a total douche bag, but what is a refereee ticket? I'm in VA, which is apparently a good thing from what you all are posting.

Is it pronounced referee like in basketball, or reeferee like a person getting referred?

Either way, I feel bad for you guys. I really admire the stuff I see built in Cali.

And here I am thinking about building an airdam from aluminum strip stock to replace those crappy plastic tabs I guess that wouldn't happened on the left coast...

dude... if theres no information on the car, and just ur license... see if one of ur friends from ur club can lend u their STOCK car.. or find one, and then go up to some sheriff and have them sign it off... screw the referee or whatever crap... just find a sheriff and see what u can do about it... im sure u'll get a clearer answer through one of them than us with the traffic enforcement in cali..
