JDM Hako's retirement.......
Good Morning Scionlifers,
Happy Holidays to everyone!!!!!!! People who do not know me, I have the 2006 Scion XB with the Koi fish on the side on the car. Well with hand full of car shows left this year, I will retire my car and start parting out my car around on end of January or earlier. As a lot of people know, I have a lot of JDM parts and other items too. I wanna thank all the friends that I made at the Scion and other car shows. I wanna thank my former and current sponsors as well, Bomex, BF Goodrich, Skunk 2, JLC Lighting, Stoner Car Care, 5 Zigen, Zeal, Endless, Rotora, Lot USA(BRIDE), Sun Auto, PG Motoring, JS Design, Midnight Garage and Promax Motorsports. Also I wanna thank teams out there that I made friends with, Team Alphasquad, Scion Evolution, Team Revoluscion, Scion Apocalypse, Team Fuscion, Xclusive Scions, Team Sciontific and more teams that I missed I’m sorry!!!! I started my Scion career when I purchased my 2006 scion xb on November of 2005 at Wondries Scion. Soon I was looking through craigslist and recycler for parts and little by little I started modifying the car. My friend Kevin, previously in a car club, and I went to my first Scion show I believe with Alphasquad in Toyota of Pasadena. Knowing no one at the show, Kevin introduced me to Kirby which was cool. Even though I didn’t win anything at that show, I started liking the scene a lot and little by little I got more mods and more sponsorships throughout the 3 years I have been showing. Little by little I started winning at local and far shows and attended a show in Arizona. I know the Scion community was pretty competitive because when I first showed, I didn’t get any responses. There was Matty, Nilo, Ross, Kirby, John Sr., Tina, Frank, Jay Jay, and many other cars that I couldn’t compete because their cars were pretty much done up to the full extent. So I turned my attention to the design of the car which everyone knows, are graphics. I went through a phase with a huge Bomex sticker to the red and gold line graphics and currently the line koi fish graphics. In my first half of year of showing, I got 10 trophies which I thought is great winning Best Scion overall at Battle of the Imports Fontana/Bakersfield and many other small shows. In 2008 when I changed up the graphics, I showed my first show at Chinatown showoff and as a lot people know, Import Showoff is one of the hardest shows to win. I was pretty surprised when I took home 3rd place Scion. Then next HIN LA came around and I was fortunate enough to win Best Graphics which I was really happy about!!!! But I know people think yes Ken is a trophy ***** and yes I do like to go to shows and winning also the main thing is talking to new and current friends at shows. Hanging out with them is great!!!!! Not to be big headed or anything to brag but till this date, I have won 62 trophies ranging from Best of show, 1st, 2nd 3rd and 4th place scion mild and wild, Best graphics, Best Scion overall, Best JDM, Best 4 door mild and wild, and many other categories as well. I am really fortunate that I have won these trophies. I love the competitiveness at shows but everything good must come to a close. If anyone needs help judging at car shows, please feel free to facebook me or call me. Again I will be posting up parts in January and I hope I can see most people at the remaining car shows this year. I wanna keep in touch and I will pop up to shows here and there. Thanks everyone

Booooooo! You suck Ken. Hahaha. Man your car has a lot of history and I’m glad to be a part of it bro. I hate your decals foo on the reals. Your first set took 3 days, 5 people, 10 orders of tacos at Jack N the Box, and 2 ripped nails. LMAO. Seriously man congrats on all the accomplishments you’ve made with the xB and along with that where it took you man. You’ve been a good friend since day one at the West Co Toyota meets and realizing we had common friends during the Showcase 626 crew era. BTW, Steven says congrats on everything too bro and says what’s up. I am kinda 50/50 on what your plans are on the future. Wedding plans for Takahashi perhaps? YEAH BOY I SAID IT! Hahahaha. Thanks Ken for everything and everything you’ve done not just for Alpha SQUAD, but all the features you gave to the Scionlife folks when you were working with LA Auto Guide.
Lastly, don’t call me when you need to remove your decals. I will block the #$%#^ out of your calls! hahahaha
