im a big manny fan and expected this to be a crazy fight but damn...there wasnt even a challenge at all. not to bash on hoya at all but even diaz, morales and barrera gave more of an entertainment match. oh well, till next time! hope to see a mayweather or hatton fight next. pound for pound best baby!

Agree it was good fight but De La Hoya just gave up I knew he was old but cmon Diaz at least fought til he had no more.

Probably won't happen Mayweather won't come out of retirement. Most likley Hatton will be his next opponent next spring that should be a good fight though.

De la hoya was still tough though, he took a lot of hard combinations but he never went down

Agree he didn't go down but if it wasn't stopped he would've like Diaz. You could see his legs buckling at he end of each flurry but it seem liked Manny backed off as if he didn't want to finish him off. I can't believe our radio stations (power 106) up here just cause they're boy lost they were calling the fight fixed.

Hatton isn't that bad IMO it will be a good fight.

Here are what the analyst are saying if he wants to fight in the 147 class (which he probably wont do) he can choose from margarito, cotto, paul williams and more likely mosley. Then there is a great chance he will go down one class to 140 and fight hatton and right after go down to 135 and defend his title against juan manuel marquez. Either way its all up to top rank what they want to do. I don't know about any of you guys but I'll watch any of those fights.

i went but didn't get to see the fight. wore my ADIDAS FILIPINO JACKET. breakin' necks and cashing checks. bunch of filipinos there though. a bunch of de la hoya fans were congratulating me about pacman. most talked to me about how disappointed they were in how bad de la hoya got handled.
